Application Of Plant Printing And Dyeing In The Colour Printing Of Traditional Shandong Color Printed Cloth

The printing and dyeing of plants is a process of printing and dyeing with plant dyes on cotton,linen,silk and wool fabrics.Before the introduction of synthetic dyes,plant dyes are the main materials for printing and dyeing fabrics.The Shandong folk color printed cloth,which is popular in Ming and Qing Dynasties,is a traditional printed cotton fabric mainly based on plant dyeing and printing.In recent years,scholars did plenty of studies on the characteristics and technology of traditional Shandong color printed cloth,but they neglected the application of plant dyes shuayin.With the development of modern humanistic spirit,promoting the artisan spirit and environmental protection increasingly urgent demand.Therefore,it is necessary and important to analyze the application of plant printing and dyeing in traditional Shandong color printed and dyeing process.The combination of color,pattern and implied meaning is not only a deeper excavation and inheritance of traditional folk art,but also a way to further expand the expression and application scope of modern plant dyes,so as to further restore and innovate traditional culture and modern technology.Firstly,by using literature search method and field investigation method,we explore the historical background and cultural inside information,color application characteristics,printing and dyeing materials and technology of the traditional Shandong color printed cloth,and analyze the inheritance characteristics and development differences of the four aspects.The color characteristics and making materials,processes and other contents are taken as the theoretical basis of the experimental stage,which provides guidance of operation and criteria of judgment for printing and application of plant dyes.Secondly,based on records of ancient plant dye extraction method,using the printing technology of traditional Shandong color printed cloth,with the scientific experiment method,respectively explore the monochrome and color printing under two conditions,influence of variable condition to color characteristics of color sample.In monochrome printing,bases on the variable of plant dyestuffs,shuayin times,dye concentration,mordant type,analyzed the variation orderliness of experimental color gamut.In color printing,based on the variables of plant dyestuffs,shuayin times,dye concentration,mordant type,contrast color gamut features of color printing experiment and dye harmonic shuayin experiment,to explore the advantages and disadvantages of two kinds of dye configuration research results.Through the Lab color model,k/s number analysis and the sun fastness test,the color lightness,hue and color purity,dyeing rate and sun exposure grade,in order to get the color characteristics of various plant dyes,and to get the various experimental factors on the influence of the color sample.This experiment is the specific operation of the above theory,according to the Lab color ring made by the scanning colorsamples,the plant dye printing color gamut in lightness,hue and color purity are limited.Thus,in accordance with the above color properties of plant dyes printing,explore the application of plant printing and dyeing in traditional Shandong color printed cloth in color printing.Finally,on the basis of experimental research,summed up the application scope,the application method and the application limitations of plant printing and dyeing,and design practice to verify the application of plant printing and dyeing in traditional Shandong color printed cloth.The application of plant dyestuffs and the reduction of traditional technology in practice,is the restoration,inheritance of traditional folk culture and arts and handicraft,also broaden the channels in the application of modern plant printing and dyeing,in order to achieve the innovation and development of "builders of the road".
