Along with the global climate warming,it has become the consensus of all countries in the world to reduce greenhouse gas emissions caused by energy consumption especially and develop a low-carbon economy.As the first step of China's western development and major province of energy,in Shaanxi province,land resource and energy become relatively scarce because of extensive economic growth mode,the contradictions between economic development and resource and environment are being increasingly acute.Therefore,properly understanding status quo and main factors affecting the change of land use carbon emission,then analyzing the relationship and regular between land use carbon emission and economic growth,it's has important theoretical and practical significance for low-carbon economic development to provide an effective way for realizing the decoupling of land use carbon emission from economic growth fundamentally.The article introduced the background of study firstly,the purpose and significance were defined then,the domestic and foreign research trends on land use carbon emission and land use carbon intensity and the relationship between carbon emission and economic growth were combed to determine research ideas and technology roadmap of the study.Besides,pointed out the shortage of the research.Then,the concepts were defined of this article,like land use carbon emission,land use carbon intensity and the decoupling between land use carbon emission and economic growth,the related theoretical basis were elaborated,such as regional economic development,low-carbon economy and the development of decoupling.Land use carbon emission in Shaanxi province from 2001 to 2015 were calculated according to the measurement method of land use carbon emission,then applied LMDI method to explore the driving factors that affect the changes of land use carbon emission,and established the model of decoupling elasticity decomposition based on the Tapio elastic decoupling method to analyze decoupling effects between the carbon emission and the economic growth.Through the preceding analysis,the article draws following conclusions:(1)Land use carbon emission were influenced by the carbon source and carbon sequestration,there were higher variation difference of carbon emission because of the different types of land use.The total carbon emission of land use increased by the year 11.34% gradually from 2001 to 2015 in Shaanxi province,and increased from 10689600 t to 48102400 t.(2)The energy intensity and land scale were the inhibiting effect and decreased land use carbon emission from 2001 to 2015,all effect factors which contribute to the increase of carbon emission of land use in the absolute value order: economic scale>energy intensity>carbon emission intensity of energy>population size>land scale,and the economic scale was the primary factor what increased the land use carbon emission in Shaanxi province.(3)The decoupling relationship between land use carbon emission and economic growth in Shaanxi province experienced the transformation of the expansionary negative decoupling-expansion link-weak decoupling in Shaanxi province from 2001 to 2015.The decoupling level has been improved to be ideal state because of the gradual transformation of economic growth model in Shaanxi province and the reduction in energy intensity worked well.(4)Sorting the decoupling effect of five factors based on the previous year and the year of 2001 separately,the factors which contribute to decoupling between land use carbon emission and the economic growth decreased in the order of: economic scale>energy intensity>carbon emission intensity of energy>land scale> population size,economic scale played the negative role in improving decoupling state between carbon emission of land use and the economic growth,while,energy intensity played the positive role.
