Under the impetus of the use of renewable energy,the green ecology photovoltaic(PV)buildings stand out from modern green buildings.The application of PV modules is not limited to roofs With the tremendous development of PV buildings,but combines with windows and curtain walls closely,especially the invention of semitransparent amorphous silicon thin film PV battery,provides a new direction for the PV buildings.Instead of conventional glass,semitransparent PV glass changes the optical and thermodynamic characteristics of the enclosure structure.As a result,daylighting,artifical lighting,cooling and heating loads are all changed,which influences the building's energy consumption.This paper taken a office building in Guangzhou as an example,simulated the heat transfer,lighting and power generation of semitransparent PV glass enclosure architecture in different directions with EnergyPlus.The relation of solar radiation intensity,the temperature of window surface,indoor load,PMV-PDD,natural lighting,power generation was obtained.Based on this,the influences on indoor environment was analyzed with different solar transmittance.The research of the characteristic of PV glass indicates,the lower solar transmittance is,the higher surface temperature is under the same radiation.When the light transmittance is 0.1,the surface highest temperature of the whole year is about 60?,which impacts on the cooling load in summer directly.Furthermore,the lower solar transmittance reduces radiant heat much.To reduce the adverse effect of high temperature PV glass on indoor thermal environment,This paper has designed ventilation window models to further optimize the energy saving characteristics of photovoltaic windows.By analyzing daylighting and discomfort glare index,the influence of semitransparent PV glass on the indoor light environment was revealed that reducing solar transmittance can efficiently decrease the discomfort glare.The mathematical model of artifical lighting was controlled by continuous dimming,and adopting daylighting data of typical meteorological years to calculate the lighting energy consumption.The results shown,the PV glass with different solar transmittance caused the great variation of lighting energy consumption,especially the room in the north.The power generation capacity of PV glass was simulated with the PV module in the EnergyPlus,the results shown,summer power generation at south window is far below than that other seasons,but the annual total power generation is most.Comprehensively,optimum transmittance for indoor light and thermal environment is about 0.2-0.3,but 0.4 is most energy conservation,which is quite different between each other.
