At present,comprehensive mechanized coal mining method is the most efficient coal mining operation way in China,as one of the core equipments in comprehensive mechanized coal mining working face,by assimilating and re-innovating the imported technology in the early stage,to current domestically designed,the electric traction shearer development technology has tended to matured.But the traditional development process of shearer complete mainly by manual calculation,with low design efficiency,long development cycle and other shortcomings.To solve this problem,take one type of shearer witch designed and producted by a domestic shearer manufacturing enterprises as the object of study,The modem design theory was introduce to the research and development process of shearer at present,build the electric traction shearer digital design systems.The design system is integrated into the UG interface,so as to realize the electrical traction shearer design,fast and accurate calibration and modeling function.Firstly,the electric traction shearer designinformation and product information was collected and collated,a large number of examples and summary of the existing coal mining machine and various transmission mechanism was studied,then the overall framework of digital design of electric traction shearer was designed.Establishment of shearer parts model in UG and get the digital prototype through bottom-up assembly,parametric design theory and method was used to parametric design the common parts and key parts,be able to modified and completed secondary modeling work quickly and accurately;The involved design knowledge and design results was stored to knowledge base,to assist the rapid access browse and query functions of data and parameters auxiliary,made the resources of transmission system design knowledge more efficiently.Based on the study above,using UG/OPEN as the Secondary development tools,compiled CAD technology,database technology into applications in VS2010 environment,then integrated on UG platform,build the electric traction shearer digital design systems.the system including parametric modeling module,cutting unit drive system design module,traction drive system design module,hydro-cylinder design module and knowledge base module,enables rapid parametric modeling,quickly automatic design of cutting unit,the traction and the hydro-cylinder,as well as query and expansion of part of the design knowledge of electrical traction shearer.This system mainly uses gear transmission design knowledge,also includes the shearer design know-how,basically meet the design demand of domestic electrical traction shearer's existing structure.Through the system testing and examples verification of the developed shearer digital design systems shows that,using this system will improve the design speed of shearer,shorten the design cycle,reduce the work intensity of designer shearer effecient,guarantee the design accuracy to a certain extent.There is an important theoretical significance and practical value for the study of moden design technology of electric traction shearer.
