Environmental Regulation In China Research On The Effect Of Economic Development

On the one hand,after years of rapid development,China's economy has created the "Chinese miracle" and attracted worldwide attention;on the other hand,it also brought plenty of environmental pollution problems in the process.When China's economy has a lot of pressure to slow down and gradually stepped into the new normal,to transform the economic development pattern,promote the Supply-side Structural Reform,and construct a beautiful China,which have become a consensus of the people throughout the country.The local governments effort to strengthen environmental regulation,to expect to achieve a perfect balance between the economy's sustainable development and environmental protection.In this article,the author divided the economic development situation into economic growth and economic structure based on a review of the relevant literature.First of all,I will compare the history and present situation of regional environmental regulation,environmental pollution and economic development from the vertical and horizontal angles;Then select the panel data of China's 30 provinces from 2000 to 2015,and set up appropriate indicators of the formal and informal environmental regulation,to respectively analyze the impact of environmental regulation on China's economic growth and economic structure.The results show that the China's environmental regulation system is increasingly perfect,and the regional characteristic is obvious around environmental regulation intensity;Second,China's environmental pollution has not been effectively improved,facing a big test for sustainable economic development;Third,China's environmental regulation can promote economic development,and the adjustment effect of economic structure is more prominent;Fourth,the formal environmental regulation is limited,however,the stimulating effects of the informal environmental regulation is more outstanding by sharp contrast.Finally,in view of the theory and empirical research results,combined with the reality of China,I give five feasible suggestions:"To develop the differentiated regional environmental regulation system","To strengthen the informal environmental regulation ","To strengthen the environmental regulation innovation of the consumer side","To establish scientific and rational government performance examination mechanism","To coordinate each environment law enforcement,and improve the efficiency of environmental law enforcement",I hope which could help the healthy development of China's economy.
