| With the rapidly development of digital-mobile-display technology and network printing,the problem about how to evaluate the color gamut of various digital-mobile-terminal device and the reproduction of color is becoming more important.Currently,the evaluating methods of digital-mobile-terminal device were just to compare its color rendering performance which included the channel independence,chromaticity constancy and color gamut coverage.While,it could not intuitively evaluate the color gamut and capabilities of color reproduction of different digital-mobile-terminal device according to human visual characteristics.In this paper,the domestic device 1,imported device1 and imported device2 were chosen as the researched objects to evaluate the color gamut of various digital-mobile-terminal device and the reproduction of color,which was based on Color Science and Device Characterization.Firstly,much color rendering performances of different digital-mobile-terminal device screens were analyzed and compared,which included spatial uniformity,brightness,time stability,channel independence,color gamut coverage and chromaticity constancy.Meanwhile,it was evaluated according to the relevant standards requirements.And then the forward characterization of digital-mobile-terminal device was achieved by using the pseudo-inverse method and BP neural network algorithm.What’s more,the tristimulus XYZ value and chromaticity L*a*b* value were exactly predicted by using the higher BP neural network algorithm which was analyzed through the accuracy of the characterization model.Finally,the L and alpha segment maxima algorithm was proposed to accurately describe the three-dimensional gamut boundary of digital-mobile-terminal device based on the segment maxima method which was combined with the irregular segment GBD algorithm.And the volume of color gamut that was about the digital-mobile-terminal device was calculated by calculating the volume of a number of tetrahedrons which were built by using the surface reconstruction algorithm to triangulate the surface of three-dimensional color gamut boundary.This method could also be used to get the cross volume of color gamut of digital-mobile-terminal device.As the result,the concept of common gamut volume ratio and differential color gamut volume ratio were put forward to analyze the color performance of different digital-mobile-terminal device on a*-b* plane,and thekodim03 was selected as the test image that was made into the Histogram to display the rendering effect on different digital-mobile-terminal device,which could more intuitively evaluate the color performance of different digital mobile devices. |
