Stage of China’s economic growth is facing the adjustment of industrial structure and the Zhuangxin.Factor driven,investment driven to demand driven,innovation driven,"new normal" feature,which means that the demand for steel in the main driving force for growth in gradually weakened.From the supply side,the iron and steel industry into the era of excess capacity and industry investment negative growth,and always struggling in the profit margins,the entire industry profit margin is basically zero,has become the industry’s lowest margin.To this end,Baosteel Group proposed to build the steel industry’s business platform,trying to improve steel trade links,reduce the cost of circulation.Through reading a lot of literature,we have grasped and understood the relevant theories and practical experiences of the project schedule management,which laid the theoretical and practical foundation for the study.Then it analyzes the actual demand of Shanghai iron and steel trading center project and the feasibility of building the project.Then according to the actual characteristics of the Shanghai Iron and steel trading center fan reach city project,the use of the work decomposition method to decompose the project,determine the major project milestones.And then according to the project total plan to develop the project milestone schedule,on the basis of the calculation of the project activity time,and determine the project activity schedule to determine the project specific schedule.Finally,in order to determine the progress of the project to ensure the timely completion of the project schedule,the potential risks of the project implementation in the scientific prediction,and to develop the corresponding risk control measures.This paper focuses on the middle and later stage of the project,the full use of project progress management methods,tools and technologies,in strict accordance with the project schedule management processes,to determine the scope of the project,the implementation of detailed work task decomposition(WBS),a milestone event table.Shanghai iron and steel trading center Fan Dacheng construction project,will build a steel trading platform,so as to effectively change the flow of steel chain,to achieve production and marketing linkage,customer service steel trade information asymmetry,not standardized,high cost of circulation,to help achieve lower costs,overcome the industry winter,improve profitability,the long-term development of Baosteel has a very important significance.
