In recent years,more and more mineral resource based cities are meeting a lot of problems,i.e.,resource exhaustion or mine closure,which makes the mine treatment become very important in China.The effective treatment approaches of mine can not only bring the new opportunities to these cities through exploiting the treated mines after the environment beautification,but relieve the pressure of land shortage through the reclamation and ecological reconstruction of mine land.However,it is noticeable that the mine treatment project,which is regarded as a complex engineering system,will face to a greater challenge from the perspective of project management besides the requirements of capital,technique,information and policy and so on.In this thesis,we take the treatment project of Benxi Beitai iron ore mine in Liaoning province as the research object.Based on the mechanism of system engineering and control engineering,we will utilize the related approaches in the field of operational research,engineering mathematics and information science to study two important management decision problems,that is,business process management and project scheduling management.The main research works can be organized as follows.(1)We give a brief reviews on the relevant research works,including the theories of project management,business process reengineering and robust scheduling,and the approaches of process algebra and resource flows network.(2)We firstly make a quantitative description to the current business process in the construction process of mine treatment project and achieve the corresponding process evaluation indices by using the approach of process algebra.Then,we utilize the mechanism of business process reengineering to improve and reconstruct the current business process.Finally,we give a comparison analysis on the system efficiency before and after reengineering the business process.(3)We firstly analyze the major problems in the project scheduling management during the construction process of mine treatment project.Then,we adopt the resource flows network approach to solve the tardiness problem of original scheduling plan based on the mechanism of robust scheduling.The mathematical model is built and the heuristic algorithm is designed.Finally,we examine the validity of the proposed model and algorithm by using the data in the real-world project.
