The awareness of environmental protection reflects people's level and level of awareness of environmental protection.It is an ideological precondition for protecting the environment.It can regulate people's adjustment of their activities and behaviors in the economic,social,cultural,and ecological fields,and promotes people and the environment.The intrinsic motivation to live in harmony is also the key basis for assessing the level of environmental education development.With the continuous advancement of productivity in science and technology and information technology,the use and transformation of nature have reached an unprecedented height,but the destruction of the ecological environment has become increasingly serious,and endless environmental problems have appeared before people's eyes.In the current situation where the urban-rural dual structure system has not been eliminated,the outstanding rural environmental problems have not effectively changed the trend of ecological deterioration.Through effective environmental awareness education to guide the majority of rural residents,especially young people of the next generation,to raise awareness of environmental protection,to transmit knowledge and skills to protect the environment,and to practice environmental protection is a key link.Therefore,the investigation and analysis of the protection and environmental protection awareness of rural junior high school students is necessary to raise the awareness of environmental protection among rural junior high school students.On the basis of theoretical analysis,the present study used rural junior high school students in Xinzhou District,Raoji City as an example to investigate and analyze the status of rural junior high school students' awareness of environmental protection,which is specifically divided into the following sections:1.The concept of "awareness of environmental protection" was defined and the current state of research on environmental awareness was elaborated.2.Design questionnaires from the three dimensions of environmental protection knowledge,environmental protection attitudes and environmental protection expected behaviors,and select five secondary schools with different geographical locations and different student conditions in the Xinzhou District,Shangrao City.For each of the seventh,eighth and ninth grades Students conducted a questionnaire survey.3.The level of awareness of environmental protection was analyzed from the geographical location of the school,the nature of the school,teachers,families,students' gender,and age.The results showed that:(1)The level of environmental protection consciousness of rural junior high school students in Xinzhou District of Shangrao City is at or below the general level,and knowledge ofenvironmental protection is a major factor affecting the level of environmental protection among rural junior high school students.(2)Mathematical statistics and analysis of various factors lead to the following results: There is a significant correlation between grade 1 factors and junior high school students' awareness of environmental protection.Grades are significantly related to the three dimensions of environmental protection knowledge,environmental protection attitude,and environmental protection behavior.2 There is a significant correlation between gender factors and environmental awareness.With the increase of grades,the difference in awareness of environmental protection between male and female students becomes more and more significant.3 There are significant correlations between geographical factors and awareness of environmental protection as a whole,but this correlation is only manifested in the dimension of environmental protection knowledge.The two dimensions of environmental protection attitude and environmental protection behavior and the geographic location of the school do not exist.Significant correlation.4 The nature of the school's education does not have a significant impact on students' awareness of environmental protection.4.Countermeasures and recommendations were made to increase the awareness of environmental protection among rural junior high school students.First,it should focus on strengthening government guidance and support in environmental protection policies.Second,we must use schools based on local conditions to play a good role in school education and teaching.Third,we must strengthen the guiding role of rural families in students' awareness of environmental protection.Fourth,we must pay attention to strengthening students' environmental protection practices.Only through the multi-pronged approach to highlight the popularity,pertinence,and effectiveness of environmental awareness education can we effectively raise the level of environmental protection awareness among rural junior high school students.
