Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of The Development Of Shale Gas Industry In China

As a kind of unconventional natural gas,shale gas has the characteristics of low carbon,green and high efficiency.It has become one of the main directions for the development of clean energy in our country in the future,and it is also a significant hub for balancing economic growth and protecting the ecological environment in China.The tremendous success of the shale gas revolution in the United States has promoted the rapid development of the domestic economy,enhanced energy self-sufficiency,reduced external dependence,improved energy consumption structure,which has an important impact on the world economic development and energy supply and demand pattern.China has abundant shale gas resources and broad development prospects.How to achieve large-scale economic exploitation of shale gas and enhance industrial competitiveness like the United States is of great importance to China's energy strategy.This paper mainly uses literature research method,comparative analysis method and qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method to analyze the external and internal conditions of the development of shale gas industry in China from multiple angles.The external conditions are described by comparative analysis with the United States,the internal conditions are explained by diamond model to illustrate the competitiveness of the industry itself.Then,comprehensively analyze and summarize the existing problems and obstacles in the development of China's shale gas industry at the present stage.Finally,combined with the current changes in the international and domestic political and economic environment,putting forward several practical strategic countermeasures to enhance the competitiveness of China's shale gas industry.The research shows that China's shale gas resources is difficult to develop;the exploration technology is backward,lacking independent research and development,and has not yet achieved nationalization;financial subsidies and tax reductions are small,the implementation is not in place;industrial special funds are not perfect;pipeline network infrastructure is weak;market mechanism needs to be improved,which restricts the development of China's shale gas industry.However,the huge potential of shale gas resources,the urgent market demand,the relatively mature development of related and supportive industries and the clear strategy and reasonable structure of the main development enterprises in China have enhanced the development of the shale gas industry to a certain extent.The competitive relationship between the same industry,such as tight sandstone gas and coalbed methane,can also be transformed into a driving force for industrial development.In order to comprehensively enhance the competitiveness of China's shale gas industry,it is recommended to formulate strategic goals for shale gas development in line with China's national conditions;grasp the opportunity of the “the Belt and Road Initiative”,strengthen technological innovation and international cooperation;increase financial subsidies,improve the tax reduction and exemption system;promote the connection between the central and local planning;establish a diversified industry special fund,accelerate the progress of pipeline network infrastructure,and improve the market mechanism;fully understand the potential impact of the current international and domestic political and economic situation on China's shale gas industry.Finally,the sustainable and stable economic development of China's shale gas industry will be realized.
