Study On Coupling-coordination Between Urbanization And Ecological Environment In Henan Province

Since the Reform and Opening in 1978,the urbanization of Henan Province has developed rapidly.In 2017,the urbanization rate has exceeded 50%,reaching 50.16%,and has made historic progress.However,the development of “quality” of urbanization is far behind the development of “quantity”,and the inefficient development of urbanization has brought about the ecological and environmental problems which are increasingly prominent.Under the government's call,the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment has become the development direction of urbanization in the future.So what is the current coupling-coordination level between urbanization and ecological environment in Henan Province? What are the weak points in the coupling-coordination process of urbanization and ecological development? What are the situations in different cities? This article has carried out a specific analysis.By collating and summarizing the relevant literatures on the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment at home and abroad,this paper draws on the existing research results,based on the theory of sustainable development and the theory of ecological city,firstly theoretically analyzes the coupling-coordination of urbanization and ecological environment.The mechanism lays the theoretical foundation for the later empirical analysis.Then,select indicators to construct a comprehensive evaluation index system for urbanization from the four aspects of population urbanization,economic urbanization,spatial urbanization and social urbanization;introduce PSR(Pressure-State-Response)model,select indicators to construct a comprehensive evaluation index system for ecological environment from the three aspects of ecological environment pressure,ecological environment state and ecological environment response.Based on the two index systems,the coefficient of weight is calculated by the coefficient of variation method,and the couplingcoordination model is used to empirically analyze the coupling-coordination level of urbanization and ecological environment in 17 prefecture-level cities in Henan Province.By analyzing the coupling-coordination level of urbanization and ecological environment in Henan Province and 17 prefecture-level cities from the perspective of time and space,the following conclusions are founded:(1)The development of urbanization in Henan Province is at a low level.(2)The ecological and environmental problems are not all caused by urbanization.(3)The coupling-coordination level in Henan Province is low and the weak points of development in each city are different.(4)There are large gaps in the development of various cities in Henan Province.According to the conclusions,four corresponding suggestions were put forward:(1)Accelerate the development of urbanization to promote the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment at a higher stage.(2)Start from multiple angles to improve the level of ecological environment in Henan Province.(3)According to local conditions,improve the coupling-coordination level between urbanization and ecological environment.(4)Guide the rational flow of factors across regions and narrow regional differences.The innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in the research perspective.At present,the research on urbanization and ecological environment coordination tends to pay attention to the assessment of the coordination level between urbanization and ecological environment,or the spatial heterogeneity analysis of the coordination level of urbanization and ecological environment,or the analysis of certain factors.Research on the weak points in the process of coordinated urbanization and ecological environment development is still relatively rare.In this paper,when analyzing the coupling-coordination level of urbanization and ecological environment,the urbanization is divided into four dimensions: population urbanization,economic urbanization,spatial urbanization and social urbanization to analyze the weak points in Henan Province and cities,which providing another study for future research.In addition,the recommendations presented in this paper are also more targeted.
