The control system of the traditional automatic tool change system is composed of PLC.The control mode is programmed by the programmer to store the PLC program in the PLC memory.The PLC controls the series of actions of the tool change process according to the programmed program.The selection of the tool and the determination of the timing of the tool change mainly depend on the experience of the programmer.Therefore,the tool change in advance or the tool change in time may occur,which seriously affects the machining accuracy and even jeopardizes the personal safety of the machine tool and even the operator.In order to solve this problem and realize intelligent processing at the same time,this paper studies the intelligent tool change system based on open CNC.Firstly,the hardware platform of the intelligent tool change system was selectsed by this paper,and the hardware platform of the intelligent tool change system was built based on the overall hardware structure of the open CNC system.A system layered control scheme was designed.In order to ensure the real-time performance of the system,the software platform of Windows+RTX(Real-Time eXtension)was adopted to develop the hardware device driver.Secondly,on the basis of the development of the underlying hardware driver,the tool change process principle and the tool change intermediate layer control program of the intelligent tool change system are studied.The tool change tool magazine selection tool,the robot arm tool change control program and the shared memory are developed.Communication technology,in the SQL Server 2000 table to achieve the addition,modification,deletion and query of the tool parameter data installed in the tool magazine.Thirdly,with the intelligent tool change as the object,the Ball end milling parameter data set is established,and the data tree training decision tree algorithm model is used in matlab to obtain the algorithm model of the Ball end milling machine processing equipment independent intelligent selection and replacement tool.Part of the ball-end milling cutter parameter data is tested on the model to test the actual effect of the decision tree algorithm model.Finally,the function of the intelligent tool change system is experimentally verified on the five-axis machining center.The intelligent tool change system in the cutting process is embedded in the open CNC system.The RTX interrupt response program is used to realize the main program interrupt execution intelligence of the CNC system.The tool change program,through the direct memory access method,the data stored in the CNC system before and after the tool change is modified to ensure that the track of the new and old tools is smooth during the process of replacing the tools.
