With the development of surfacing technology and the wide range of applications,manufacturers have produced many kinds of surfacing welding rods which can meet different performance.The performance of surfacing welding rods is good or bad,which directly affects the final result.Whether a certain surfacing welding rod is good or not is to weld the surfacing welding rod to the test board,then the performance of electrode can be obtained indirectly by testing the performance of surfacing specimen.At present,this step is mainly based on manual or working machines,so the stability or suitability is low,which brings a great deal of interference to the preparation of the test results.Therefore,entrusted by the enterprise,the surfacing testing machine is designed.As a universal testing machine,which replaces manual welding and reduces interference defects caused by artificial surfacing,stability has been improved,the full-position is realized,thus making an important basis for subsequent choices.The main contents of the study are as follows:Firstly,according to the size of the test plate and the length requirement of the standard welding rod,the scheme of each mechanism and the overall scheme of the equipment are designed,and the 3D modeling and assembly of the components of the welding equipment are carried out with 3D software.Secondly,the working table of this device is connected to the test plate,so the working table is most affected by thermal deformation.According to the theory of nonlinear transient heat conduction,the general parameters and boundary conditions are set up,and the transient temperature field distribution of the whole system is solved by thermal analysis of the working table using APDL language Module in ANSYS15.0.In this process,three kinds of commonly used surfacing welding rods are selected.In order to satisfy the generality of the test machine,the temperature field of the working table can be changed when the welding rods surfacing with different materials is used to weld different test plates.Third,the results obtained from the above three thermal calculations are added to the ANSYS15.0,and the results are imported into the thermal-structural coupling module to calculate the deformation values under the three conditions of the working table.Fourth,according to the deformation value,working table is improved,four columns are added between the test plate and the work ing table to reduce the heat conduction of the test plate and the work ing table.At the same time,a proper reinforcement is added under the table,which increases the area of heat dissipation and reduces the deformation at the same time.And the final scheme and conclusion are obtained by comparing the results before and after improvement.
