As a kind of waste with potential resources,the comprehensive utilization of rice husk ash has important environmental and economic significance.Addition of rice husk ash to cement can not only improve the utilization rate of agricultural waste,reduce environmental pollution,but also achieve the purpose of saving cement and reducing costs to a certain extent,and have good economic and environmental benefits.In this paper,a new green building material is prepared by using rice husk ash.The performance of rice husk ash cement mortar is studied systematically,and its environmental impact and economic evaluation are studied,which provides theoretical support for its application in building engineering.In this paper,the calcination temperature of rice husk ash and the added amount of rice husk ash were taken as two variables to carry out the orthogonal experimental design.The properties of rice husk ash cement mortar,such as basic physical properties,mechanical properties and durability were studied.Finally,the comparison and analysis of rice husk cement mortar and ordinary cement mortar were carried out from the aspects of environmental impact assessment and economic evaluation.This research shows:(1)With the incorporation of rice husk ash,the water absorption of rice husk ash cement mortar tends to increase as a whole,and with the rice husk ash blending increased gradually,the water absorption rate also increased.With the addition of rice husk ash,the consistency tends to increase with the increasing proportion of rice husk ash.When the calcination temperature of rice husk ash is certain,the dry density of rice husk ash cement mortar decreased compared with that of blank grout,and with the increase of rice husk ash content,the dry density followed decreased.(2)Comparing with the blank group of cement mortar,the value of the compressive strength were decreased in 14 days and 28 days,and the value of 28-day flexural strength decreased,too.The incorporation of rice husk ash has improved the anti-frost property and impermeability of rice husk cement mortar.From the SEM images of rice husk ash cement mortar,it can be seen that rice husk ash produces needle-like materials in cement mortar,which are bonded together to form a spatially continuous network structure,which enhances the interweaving force and fixation of rice husk ash cement mortar.(3)The environmental impact and economic evaluation of rice husk ash cement mortar are analyzed by using life circle assess-ment method,which provides the theoretical basis for the feasibility and economy of rice husk cement mortar as green building material.The research results show that.Using rice husk to replace partial cement,cement dosage isreduced,and the ADP of limestone consumption is also reduced.Meanwhile,rice husk ash is recycled for agricultural waste and the energy consumption required is lower than that of cement.The incorporation of rice husk ash can reduce the cost of cement mortar,compared with ordinary cement mortar,rice husk ash cement mortar has significant economic benefits.
