Research On The Comprehensive Benefits Of Sichuan Boiler "Coal To Gas"

Energy is the foundation of human survival and promotes social progress and development.Coal is the most consumed energy in China.A large amount of coal consumption exist in agriculture,forestry,industry,construction,transportation,and residential life.Among them,the industrial sector uses the most coal,especially the coal for boiler combustion.However,the heavy use of coal will lead to more and more serious environmental pollution,thereby reducing the quality of people's life.At the same time,coal combustion has low thermal efficiency,high energy consumption and serious waste of resources,which is harmful to sustainable economic development.Natural gas has the title of clean energy.It produces less pollutants and has higher thermal efficiency.So it is the main energy source advocated by China.However,because the price of natural gas is higher than that of coal,the cost of coal-to-gas is relatively high,Therefore,the enthusiasm of enterprise transformation is not high.This paper is mainly based on the theory of economics,management,energy consumption structure and benefit evaluation.Considering the policy,economic,social and technological environment for implementing coal-to-gas in Sichuan Province,the environmental,economic and social benefits of boiler coal-to-gas are analyzed,and comprehensive benefits are calculated.When studying environmental benefits,based on carbon emission trading and environmental protection tax law,this paper calculated the heat generated by millions of calories,the carbon emission reduction benefit and waste reduction efficiency of coal-to-gas are obtained.When studying the economic benefits,the difference between the transformation cost of the boiler coal-to-gas and the operating cost before and after the boiler coal-to-gas was discussed.When studying social benefits,social effects are measured mainly from two aspects:health benefits and cleanliness benefits.Considering environmental benefits,economic benefits and social benefits,the comprehensive benefits of implementing boilers coal-to-gas are higher than those before boilers coal-to-gas,that is,the use of natural gas by boilers is better than the use of coal.At the end of the paper,according to the "boiler coal-to-gas plan" in Sichuan Province,based on the quantity of boilers coal-to-gas in different periods,the stage benefits of implementing boilers coal-to-gas are calculated.According to the possible problems of boiler coal-to-gas in Sichuan Province,relevant suggestions are put forward.The research results can provide basis for government departments to formulate policies and provide reference for enterprise decision-making.
