With the fierce competition of mold industry,it's meaningful to improve the design and production management level of mold companies.However,there are many problems of mold design management such as the backward design process management methods,the confusion knowledge management and the low efficiency of production scheduling.Therefore some appropriate intelligent technologies are used to solve these questions,in order to improve the efficiency of the mold design and production,shorten the process time.In this paper we focus on the injection mold design process management,knowledge management and production scheduling,and finish following work:(1)The concurrent design management of injection moldDuring injection mold design there are questions including low-efficient design process,low level of information,confusing project management.Therefore some methods are used to promote the organizations of staff,data,designing process and management tools.Methods and system structure of concurrent process have been studied.A design management system has been developed,with modules of project management,man-hour statistics,error recording and data analysis.This system has realized the concurrent management and improved the information level of enterprise.(2)The mold knowledge management based on ontologyExperience and knowledge is one of the companies' key competitions,which is contained in kinds of design documentation,examples and standards and difficult to summarize and manage.Knowledge models are built based on ontology theories,and ontology semantic similarity is calculated based on WordNet.The ontology method can preliminary realize knowledge retrieval.(3)Flexible production scheduling based on adaptive genetic algorithmTraditional mold production scheduling methods can't meet the dynamic and multivariate production needs.A mathematical model of flexible production scheduling is built,an adaptive genetic algorithm of double encoding is proposed and is proved good performance.Considering the uncertainties in mold production,a rolling window strategy is proposed to solve dynamic scheduling problems.This method improves efficiency of production scheduling.
