In order to alleviate the wear of driving sprocket and improve the working efficiency of scraper conveyor,the wear mechanism of driving sprocket was studied,and the influence of various parameters on driving sprocket was analyzed.Based on the experiment,the optimization method of sprocket was obtained.The force of scraper conveyor driving sprocket in meshing with circular chain is analyzed,and the interaction between driving sprocket and circular chain is determined.The change of the sprocket shape caused by the change of the parameters of the driving sprocket is analysed,understanding the conditions and results of abrasive wear and fatigue wear of the driving sprocket.The methods of predicting the sprocket failure is introduced.The optimization methods of the driving sprocket on this basis is discussed.The driving sprocket is designed and modeled.The influence of the key parameters of the sprocket on the sprocket is determined by orthogonal test.The stress distribution and magnitude of the driving sprocket are determined by structural static analysis.Then the optimized sprocket is simulated andcalculated,and the experimental results are compared.Then,the orthogonal experiment of interaction is redesigned to analyze the interaction among the parameters of sprocket,and the experimental conclusion is obtained by visual analysis and variance analysis.By means of transient dynamic analysis,the change of stress in meshing contact between driving sprocket and circular chain is determined.Then the static structure analysis method is used to simulate the stress distribution of the driving sprocket,and determine the contact position with the greatest stress.The force and stress distribution of sprocket during operation are further analyzed,and the results of orthogonal analysis are verified.In order to simulate the working environment of the driving sprocket,the wear tests of the driving sprocket before and after optimization were carried out on the sprocket simulation test bench.The experimental results of the analysis verify the optimization experiment.Determining the influence law of key parameters on driving sprocket,and improving the optimization method of driving sprocket.The experimental results are analyzed,the existing optimization methods of driving sprocket are summarized,and the optimization methods of sprocket are obtained.The optimized driving sprocket suffers less stress in operation,reduces the possibility of sprocket wear failure,and improves the service life of the driving sprocket.
