With the rapid development of domestic metallurgical industry,especially the iron and steel industry,the supply of roller for rolling mill has increased greatly.The domestic requirement of CNC roll grinder is also growing rapidly.At the same time,due to the advancement of technique and quality in the metallurgical industries,the requirement of the machining accuracy of the CNC roll grinder for roller processing and grinding is also increasing.Despite the monopoly of China's high-end processing equipment by foreign machine in metallurgical and iron and steel industries,the current situation of domestic CNC roll grinder has achieved greater progress than before.However it is still facing machining difficulties in accuracy,stability,reliability and automation etc.It's an urgent task to narrow the gap with foreign machine tools by enhancing competitiveness of domestic ones,during those similar foreign machines are becoming intelligent,environmental and unmanned.Therefore,the exploration of some typical methods for the structural design and optimization analysis of CNC roll grinder can improve the level of the domestic machines.In this paper,a high precision CNC roll grinder,MK8432,is selected as the research object,jointly developed with Shanghai Baosteel.At the same time,combined with the manufacturing experiences of Shanghai Machine Tool Works,the weak points of the main parts of the machine will be found by dynamic testing and analyzing its natural frequency and vibration frequency in different situations.And it will be improved by structural analysis and optimization.
