Study On Portfolio Time Management For Offshore Drilling Design Projects

For now,as the economy develops,EPC model is more and more popular in the international engineering construction programs,also for the offshore drilling projects.So it should be noticed that,and the portfolio time management has so critical influence to the schedule,since the designing phase of engineering is the base of the whole project.However,the actual implementation of offshore drilling is just blooming in these years,the traditional time management of single project is not available for the programs which need to be fixed at the same time,the study on how to prioritize projects,how to make a schedule of program with critical chain method,and how to control the schedule is not essential.Therefore,it is necessarily to do the study on time management for offshore drilling program,using the critical chain method.The thesis combining with the cases of offshore drilling design projects,will expound how to evaluate and prioritize the projects,how to find critical chain for program and make a schedule for program with critical chain method.And through analyzing the factors which affect the schedule,the critical human resources in critical chain will be paid attention to,especially for the design projects.
