While the construction industry creates numerous employment opportunities for people and promotes economic development,it also brings a lot of construction safety risks.In recent years,the number of construction safety accidents and the number of deaths in China have all shown an obvious upward trend,indicating that the current situation of construction safety accidents is worsening.In order to accelerate the development of all people,enterprises and society safely and steadily,it is imperative to study the causes and preventive measures of construction safety accidents.Through extensively reading the relevant documents and practical cases about construction safety accidents,domestic and international safety management theory and accident research methods were summarized in this thesis.Firstly,based on the accident theory,the collected reports of 1320 construction safety accidents from 2005 to 2018 was analyzed in this thesis,and the law of accident level,type of accident and the time of accident occurrence was summarized.Then,according to the decomposition principle of “system-subsystem-factor-sub-factor”,construction accident causes were decomposed into six subsystems,including organization and behavior,technical management,resource security,contract management,safety training and emergency response,and then explained their specific connotations separately.Secondly,the gray correlation analysis method was used to mine the correlation between accident causes and accident level,accident causes and the type of the accident.Based on that,the 43 accident cause sub-factors were classified to three severity levels,named as rigorous,critical,secondary,and normal.After that,through questionnaire survey to understand the possibility of accidents caused by every cause,and then according to the importance level and the actual frequency of occurrence,the correlation analysis of the causes were carried out to find out the relationship between the two variables in the causes.The regression analysis method was also used to explore the correlation between the importance level of causes and the actual frequency of occurrence.Finally,an especially serious collapse accident of the Fengcheng Power Plant project in 2016 was adopted as a case study.After the expatiation of accident processes and major reasons,the accident causes of the case were identified and compared with the results of statistical analysis.By making full use of the application value of the accident investigation reports,the causes of the accident by combining a large number of construction safety accident cases were systematically sorted out in this thesis.Through statistics and data mining methods,the cause association was found,the key causes were determined,and the management and control strategies were also proposed in a targeted manner to provide a reference for better construction safety decision-making,monitoring and management.
