For the industrial type EPC project with technology complexity,large scale and work volume and long construction period,the efficient integration of various resources such as design,materials,management force,labor force,machinery and tools is of great significance for the smooth and successful implementation of the project.While at the stage of resource integration,subcontract tendering is a crucial link.To a great extent,whether the subcontract tendering work is carried out in a scientific,rational and effective manner determines the success or failure of the subsequent subcontracting management.This paper studies the practice of subcontracting tendering management of Afipsky project,and analyzes whether it is operated under scientific and effective management system,and whether the result is as expected.The main task of this paper is as follows:First,the paper brings in this paper the basic theory of international construction project management,as well as the theory and practice of the subcontracting management of international construction projects,in order to fully understand the theoretical basis of subcontracting tendering management of international construction projects.Secondly,the paper describes the background of Afipsky project,and analyzes the tendering course for construction contractors sourcing,as well as the planning process of subcontracting tendering.The project works through invitation to tender and uses the comprehensive bid evaluation method by setting up the evaluation factors,determining the weight of the each evaluation factor,and thereafter selecting eight key subcontracting bid evaluation technical and economic factors.The bid evaluation committee,according to the requirements of the tender documents,assesses the valid bid documents on their commercial,technical and price aspects,and eventually selects the competent construction contractors through comprehensive evaluation.Finally,the research applied on Afipsky project in connection with the construction contract tendering helps the engineering company to move towards professional management,save the bidding cost,simplify the project settlement method,etc.,which set up a good reference to other companies for their development practices in this respect.
