Research On The Relationship Between Agricultural Non-point Source Pollution And Economic Growth In Shandong Province

Point source pollution has been paid attention to for a long time in China,but agricultural non-point source pollution has not been paid attention to by scholars and the government,so it has become one of the most serious environmental problems in China.As a major agricultural,economic and population province,Shandong province accelerated the process of rural urbanization after the reform and opening up.With the acceleration of economic and agricultural development,a large amount of agricultural materials such as fertilizers and pesticides were invested,but the utilization rate was low,and the livestock and poultry breeding industry also developed on a large scale.The intensification of agricultural non-point source pollution forces the environment to be seriously threatened,which not only brings serious pollution to the atmosphere,soil and water resources,but also affects the health of human beings.At this time,rural infrastructure is not perfect enough,farmers’ weak awareness of environmental protection,backward technology and other causes that materials produced in agricultural activities can not be effectively used,making rural non-point source pollution is increasingly intensified.With the continuous improvement of agricultural production level and people’s increasing demand,agricultural non-point source pollution has become an important factor affecting and destroying the ecological environment.Therefore,strengthening the detection and prevention of agricultural non-point source pollution and protecting the agricultural ecological environment have become the key points to be paid attention to and solved in the future construction of ecological agriculture.The main causes of non-point source pollution are: market failure,government failure and information asymmetry of agricultural non-point source pollution caused by negative externality.The characteristics of agricultural non-point source pollution include concealment,dispersion,extensiveness,randomness,uncertainty and undetectability,which make it very difficult to solve the problem of non-point source pollution.By analyzing the data of Shandong province from 2003 to 2017,this paper divided 17 prefecture-level cities in Shandong province(Laiwu was not assigned to Jinan in 2017)into three categories by means of clustering according to the per capita GDP.This paper mainly studied the development trend of agricultural non-point source pollution in Shandong province with the help of economic knowledge andEKC curve.At the end of the paper,the analysis results are summarized.Through the data and analysis,we can also see the current stage of the curve between agricultural non-point source pollution and economic growth in Shandong province,and verify the relationship between agricultural non-point source pollution and economic growth in Shandong province.In view of the series of research analysis and put forward the corresponding Suggestions at this stage.
