In recent years,with the increase of environmental protection,the number of sewage treatment plants is also gradually growing.However,in the process of operation of sewage treatment plants,due to the high long-term investment cost and the lack of professionals to operate,many sewage treatment plants cannot ensure compliance with the discharge standards.Therefore,this research has taken a sewage treatment plant that has been built and put into operation in Erdos City as an example,and discussed the energy consumption of the processes and equipment,and proposes measures to reduce energy consumption,in order to save costs for the operation of sewage treatment plant.The research conclusions are as follows:?1?For Dongsheng District sewage treatment plant in Erdos,energy consumption is mainly composed of pretreatment unit,the secondary biochemical treatment unit and sludge treatment unit.In the three units,the biochemical treatment unit presents the largest energy consumption,which has a power consumption of 21792 KWH·d-1.This accounts for 63.75%of the total power consumption.Moreover,the preprocessing unit shows considerable energy consumption second only to the biochemical treatment unit,while the sludge treatment unit consumes the smallest energy;?2?According to the production process and equipment characteristics of city sewage treatment plant,under the condition of safe,stable and continuous standard,on the basis of the quality and quantity of influent water,the plant should reasonably adjust the operation time of biochemical tank,adjust process operation parameters in time and optimize process operation mode.At the same time,combining with the characteristics of sewage treatment plant and operating experience,the plant should make full use of the automatic control system,through setting up reasonable control parameters,such as DO,MLSS,and SRT.Thus,it could automatically control the operation of blower,internal return and sludge external reflux pump,so as to automatically adjust and optimize the biological treatment process to achieve the best biochemical treatment effect.These measures could realize the optimization of process,energy saving and consumption reduction of low cost and economic operation;?3?Through the energy consumption analysis of the lifting pump system in Dongsheng District sewage treatment plant of Ordos City,it is judged whether the selection and design of the pump is reasonable,and then according to the actual operation conditions,the high-efficiency and low-consumption lifting pump equipment could be re-selected to completely solve the problem of energy consumption waste.In addition,by changing the impeller and adding frequency converter,the pump can be kept running at high water level to realize the relatively efficient operation of the lifting pump system;?4?For the aeration system of Dongsheng sewage treatment plant in Ordos City,its energy consumption generally accounts for about 40%of the total power consumption of the urban sewage treatment plant,and it could accounts for even as high as 60%in some cases.Through the analysis of energy consumption,the surface aeration mode is changed into the bottom aeration mode,which can improve the aeration efficiency of the aeration system and ensure the economic operation of the production.Secondly,high efficiency and low consumption fans,such as air suspension or magnetic suspension fan,should be adopted to take to the advantages of space saving,simple operation and easy maintenance of the aeration fan,all of which improve the energy-saving effect and economic benefits of the aeration system.In addition,the use of plate type rubber membrane microporous aerator can reduce the energy consumption of aeration system by 20-30%and greatly save the operation cost of urban sewage treatment plant.
