With the rejuvenation of consumer groups and the rise of young consumers such as the post-80 s and 90 s,the aesthetic concept and consumer concept have also changed greatly.Solid wood furniture products with a modern style,that is,modern solid wood furniture,occupy more and more market share.Since China is originally a lack of forest country,it is now in a situation where the solid wood resources are tight,coupled with the rising cost of solid wood furniture products,and the natural characteristics of solid wood cause defects in furniture products.Research on the problems and scientific solutions of modern solid wood furniture materials with solid wood as the core material,and the rational application of solid wood resources are of great significance to the furniture products themselves,furniture enterprises,and social benefits.This article is based on the method of combining scientific theory with actual cases,and carries out research with the ideas of asking questions,analyzing problems,and solving problems.(1)Through field surveys and online surveys,we collected products from domestic mainstream brands of modern solid wood furniture,and from five important furniture categories:sofas,dining chairs,dining tables,beds,and large cabinet products,cut in from the product parts platform.Carry out detailed statistical analysis of the materials,get the distribution map of the materials and the performance and methods of the materials,and summarize the current status of the domestic solid wood furniture materials.(2)Theoretical analysis of scientific materials,to provide theoretical basis for the scientific materials of domestic modern solid wood furniture,carried out from the following three aspects:(1)Scientific materials should follow the sustainable design method under the guidance of sustainable thinking: product functional and decorative intensive considerations,product life cycle extension,reduced use of materials,recyclable use,energy saving,reducing Environmental pollution.(2)Taking the commonly used materials in domestic furniture products as the target analysis object,conducting scientific research on the material characteristics and processing technology,reasonably analyzing the shape of the component suitable for processing and the corresponding component type in the furniture product,and obtaining the material characteristics summary table,Provide a basis for the research on the correct control materials of domestic modern solid wood furniture.(3)Analyze the demand for furniture parts based on functional form analysis,obtain the common demand form of parts and main functional requirements,and comprehensively obtain a summary table of furniture product parts demand to provide a basis for the correct selection of product parts.(3)Comparative analysis of actual cases: Based on the research of scientific material theory,from four levels of analysis: material consumption,material control,product appearance,product function,introduce excellent foreign modern solid wood furniture products for analysis and comparison,and explore each category of modern solid wood furniture in China The existing material problems are finally summarized into six aspects: the amount of solid wood is too large,the risk of cracking and deformation of solid wood control,the application limitations of multiple materials,the poor aesthetics of the product,the serious homogeneity of the product,and the selection of materials cannot maximize the realization of product demand.(4)According to the six aspects of wood materials used in domestic modern solid wood furniture,combined with the three major theories of scientific wood materials and the advantages of international modern solid wood furniture,the fundamental solution is output:(1)light and simplified control of solid wood materials(including 6 kinds of solid wood control methods)(2)Reasonable application of multiple materials:(contains a comparison table of 2 types of furniture parts selection)(5)Based on the scientific material solution,the dining chair products with outstanding material problems were optimized and improved,and a total of 7 dining chair optimization solutions were obtained.The original products and optimization solutions were evaluated through simulation calculation of solid wood consumption and user comprehensive evaluation.In terms of the amount of solid wood,the optimization program helps reduce the amount of solid wood up to 80.8% of the original product;in terms of user comprehensive evaluation,the optimization program has advantages over the original product.The research results of this topic can be used by modern solid wood furniture companies and their designers to provide scientific timber solutions when developing products to reduce the waste of solid wood resources and promote the sustainable development of the modern solid wood furniture industry and natural resources.
