Research On The Strategic Transformation Of CNPC Based On The Low-carbon Economy

With the entry into force of the Paris agreement on climate change,clean and lowcarbon energy has become the trend of world energy development and the global energy industry has entered a new stage of transformation.Chinese economy has shifted from high-speed development to high-quality development.Building a clean,low-carbon,safe and efficient modern energy system has become the goal pursued by the energy industry.Under the constraints of low carbon,how to adapt to the trend of energy transformation and achieve sustainable development of quality and efficiency in traditional energy enterprises is a practical significance research topic.China national petroleum corporation(CNPC)as a domestic oversize state-owned oil company,its production and business operation faces severe challenges.It is necessary to perfect the corporate strategy from the perspective of long-term development and maximization of corporate value,so as to realize sustainable development of corporate economic benefit and social responsibility.Based on the low-carbon economy,this paper systematically analyzes the macro and industrial environment,development status and problems faced by the development of CNPC,and concludes the necessity of strategic transformation of CNPC.This paper uses the SWOT model,IFE and EFE model for qualitative and quantitative analysis to determine the transformation path of CNPC and put forward specific suggestions from the national level and enterprise level.
