In order to satisfy the safety requirements of Qin-Jing Crude Oil Pipeline shutdown and insufficiency oil sources of HuaBei Petrochemical Corporation in 2017 after their oil refining capacity scales up from 500 tons per year to 1000 tons per year,the Pipeline Branch of CNPC proposes to construct the new pipeline,Jing-Hua Crude Oil Pipeline.Based on this project,an analysis on the process system of the whole pipeline is undertaken in this paper.Regarding to the project,kinds of oil products,large scale-range of product properties,different design flow rate,alternative transportation,batch transportation and depressant transportation exist,which include all possible cases in liquid pipeline system.Its complexity brings about greater difficulties because several cases have to be taken into consideration.In this paper,SPS simulation software is employed to modeling the Jing-Hua Crude Oil Pipeline.Both steady and dynamic state analyses are undertaken to simulate the whole hydraulic system.Batch transportation as well as adaptability study is considered,which contribute to the final transportation scheme.Main research conclusions of this paper are as follows:After economical and technical optimization,pipeline diameter DN500 with design pressure 6.3MPa is selected as the best solution.In low flow rate case,both depressant injecting and oil heating method should be employed,while in high flow rate case only oil heating is necessary.During Hua-Bei Petrochemical Corporation's refining equipment overhaul,backward oil transportation with heating furnace igniting is proposed.After steady-state and dynamic study of the whole hydraulic system,process facilities of all stations can match the requirements of each years' oil transportation mission and pressure protection system can satisfy the requirements of safety and reliabilities.At accident condition,pressure advance protection and valve position protection can guarantee thesecurity of transportation,which at the same time calling off surge relief valve and drain tank.After pipeline safety analysis,cold-heat alternative transportation will not bring damage to the pipeline and safety shutdown time of each month is calculated for commissioning guidance.Compared with the actual operation data,it can be seen that the oil loading condition and the original design have changed greatly,mainly because of the great changes of the crude oil properties of Jidong oilfield.Due to the broad scope of the design,the pipeline can still be operated safely and smoothly through the adjustment of the oil pipeline during the low throughput.In conclusion,the construction plan is determined through the comprehensive study of the above aspects.The construction of this project has very good guidance and reference for the construction of similar pipeline at home and abroad.
