Dongpu reservoir is one of the most important water sources in Hefei.Its ecosystem health directly affects the health of Hefei citizens.Therefore,it is great significance to understand the environmental conditions of Dongpu National Wetland Park?pilot?for exploring the water quality protection and management of Dongpu reservoir.In this study,24 soil samples,25 sediment samples and 23 overlying water samples were collected from Dongpu wetland park.Based on the analysis of the physical and chemical properties of the samples,the soil quality and ecosystem health of the wetland park were evaluated.The main results are as follows:?1?The soil particles in the land area of Dongpu Wetland Park are mainly composed of powder particles,and there are certain spatial differences in the distribution of soil nutrient elements and soil enzyme activities;The results of soil fertility evaluation showed that the quality of soil fertility in the land area of Dongpu Wetland Park was in the middle level;the results of Igeoeo showed that the average pollution level of four heavy metals in the soil from high to low was Cd,Zn,Pb,Cu,and the results of Nemero comprehensive pollution index showed that the heavy metals in the soil were in the safe level.?2?The sediment composition of Dongpu Reservoir Wetland Park are dominated by silt,and the accumulation process of TN,TP and OM in sediments in the reservoir are highly synchronized;Under the influence of exogenous input,the pollution of TP in river sediment was more serious,and the pollution of TN and OM is more serious in the reservoir area;The content of NaOH-P in the sediment is higher than that of HCL-P,and IP shows a strong spatial variability;the heavy metals in the wetland park and its inflow river were in a low ecological risk level,and the order of pollution degree from high to low is Zn,Pb,Mn and Cu,Cu and Pb were the main potential ecological risk factors,and the source of Cu,Zn,Pb and Mn in the river sediment were quite different.?3?The water quality of the overlying water in the sampling points/sections of the wetland park was the least affected by NH4+-N,and the CODMn was the main factor affecting for the water quality.The evaluation results of the comprehensive water quality identification index method showed that the water quality of the overlying water in the reservoir area and the inflow river was the class III surface water,and the water quality was good.?4?The water quality of all sections/points of the wetland park showed an improvement trend;The average health index of terrestrial ecosystem in Wetland Park is 46.4,which belongs to the middle?Class III?level.The average health index of aquatic ecosystem is 67.2,which belongs to the better?class II?level.The health status of aquatic ecosystem in reservoir area was better than the river.
