In the process of vulcanization of rubber tires,under the action of high temperature and high pressure in the vulcanizer,the rubber is squeezed into a special vent to form tire burr,which will adversely affect the performance of the tire's grip,wear resistance,drainage,and low noise.Even in the process of driving,it will have an impact on the safety of driving.According to the current process,all tires exist tire burr during the production process,therefore,tire surface treatment is required after vulcanization specially.Temperature as the most influential parameter in the three elements of vulcanization(temperature,time,pressure),plays an important role in tire of vulcanization.Based on the simulation model of tire temperature field established by finite element analysis software,the vulcanization temperature field of different parts of tire is studied.For the treatment of post-vulcanization tire burr,a complete automatic tire surface treatment equipment is designed to trim the tire burr.The main parts such as tire clamping device and trimming device are designed and calculated,and the three-dimensional modeling and overall assembly of the entire equipment are completed.The automatic control system is designed to realize the automatic treatment of the tread.The main research contents and results are as follows:(1)On the basis of the previous research and practice,a finite element analysis model of the tire temperature field is established and the tire vulcanization temperature is simulated numerically by the use of Ansys Workbench.The distribution law of vulcanization degree of various parts of the tire is obtained.On the basis of the simulation results,the vulcanization process is optimized.The vulcanization quality of tires is improved.(2)According to the specifications of the tires,the design technical parameters of the tread treatment equipment are formulated.The key components of thetrimming machine,such as,tire delivery device,tire clamp device,trimming device are innovatively designed,and the whole structure of the trimming machine is modeled using Solidworks.According to the design,the tire clamp device improves the stability of the tire trimming process and the quality of trimming.At the same time,the tire trimming device realizes a more flexible angle adjustment and the less defect treatment of all parts of the tread.(3)Using Mitsubishi FX series PLC to program and simulate the control system to achieve the automatic control of loading,transportation,and trimming process.
