In recent years,with the implementation of the strategy of "one belt and one road",China has provided a good opportunity for Chinese enterprises to go to the world.For most Chinese enterprises,this is a good opportunity to open up overseas markets.Undoubtedly,this is also an excellent opportunity for power plant contractors to explore the international market.With the government's further increasing support for overseas investment projects,there are great opportunities and challenges for power plant contractors.Intelligence,informatization and digitalization of thermal power plants have become the trend of industry development.Integration and optimization of existing peripheral control systems such as desulfurization to achieve "large centralized control" and "large auxiliary control" of thermal power plants are the strong foundation for thermal power plant personnel integration,quality improvement and efficiency enhancement,and core competitiveness building.The original performance of desulfurization system of 6.8MW coal-fired power plant in Pakistan has been difficult to meet the current requirements,and the original control system needs to be upgraded and reformed as a whole.The project is difficult,multi-links and greatly influenced by environmental factors.Whether it can be implemented smoothly is directly related to the normal operation of the unit,and how to ensure the quality of the project while completing it on schedule is a difficult problem for all parties involved in the project construction.Taking the desulfurization system renovation project of 6.8MW coal-fired power plant in Pakistan as an example,this paper uses the method of qualitative and quantitative analysis to analyze the problems existing in the schedule management of the renovation project of 6.8MW coal-fired power plant in Pakistan from two aspects of project schedule planning and project schedule control,and determines that the problems of the project schedule plan lie in the overestimation of process duration and the critical path method.Limitation,the problem of project schedule control lies in the lag of rectifying deviation and imperfect control measures.In this paper,key chain technology is applied to eliminate safety time,balance resources and identify key chains.The schedule of 6.8MW coal-fired power plant desulfurization and desulfurization transformation project is redesigned,and the size of buffer zone is calculated by elastic coefficient method.The construction period after adding buffer period is 70 days,18 days ahead of the original plan.The validity of key chain is verified.On this basis,through the management of buffer zone to control the progress of the project implementation phase,establish early warning mechanism,incentive mechanism,improve the acceptance process and other control measures to ensure the reliable implementation of the project progress plan.The traditional project schedule management method only considers the logical relationship between processes,but does not consider the constraints of human behavior and resources.The key chain technology is applied to the project schedule management.The resource constraints are taken into account when making the project schedule.The traditional critical path method is improved to reduce the redundant safety time of the project.In this way,the key chain restricting the project can be identified,and a buffer zone is set on the key chain to eliminate the influence of uncertain factors on the project,so as to achieve the project entry.The purpose of degree optimization and effective control.The implementation of the key chain project management method in this project ensures the progress of Pakistan's 6.8MW coal-fired power plant transformation project,and makes more reasonable use of limited resources,which provides a good reference for other power plant project transformation projects.
