In today's era,rural economic development and people's living standard are gradually improving.The output of rural domestic pollution waste in China is also increasing year by year.Serious random disposal of waste not only affects air quality and good environment in rural areas,but also enables lots of pollutants permeate into the underground or flow into water through the overland runoff.It causes a great influence on surroundings in rural areas.Rural domestic waste becomes an urgent problem to be solved in rural environment improvement.At present,scientific research basis is relatively insufficient in pollution prevention of rural domestic waste.On the one hand,the research width and depth are insufficient.On the other hand,it fails to realize transformation of research achievements.In recent years,with the GIS technical development and application of solid waste management,it is possible to collect rural domestic waste and optimize the distribution technology.Starting from treatment status of rural domestic waste,collection status of rural domestic waste and existing problems,the GIS technology is introduced to study the best site selection for the pick-up point for rural domestic waste.This shows the important significance on planning and studying the site selection for the pick-up pint of rural domestic waste.In this study,Taohuajiang Town,Taojiang County,Hunan Province is used as a research object to introduce the natural environment,economic development status and traffic in the research rea.Also,data collection statistics and analysis are conducted by aiming at the environmental problems,quantity,compositions and collection status of rural domestic waste.ARCGIS software tool and relevant functions of the software are used.The module-expanded spatial analysis method is used to start from constructing the pick-up point of rural domestic waste.The author elaborates the influence factors and relevant calculation methods for site selection of the pick-up point for rural domestic waste and constructs the basic database of collection and distribution mode for rural domestic waste.The software is used to optimize the site selection for the refuse collection point.The collection and distribution optimization technology of rural domestic waste can provide the effective support to construct the waste pick-up point in rural areas.The site selection of the rural domestic waste pick-up point not only should consider convenient waste throwing for residents and convenient transportation,but also should consider the influences of the pick-up point construction and waste stacking on surroundings.Based on the spatial analysis method,the suitable site selection area for rural domestic waste in Taohuajiang Town is screened out.The grid method is used to group the rural resident point.The adjacent domain analysis tool is used to look for the site selection of the waste pick-up point in Taohuajiang Town from the suitable site selection.The site selection results show that by optimizing the rural domestic waste pick-up point in Taohuajiang Town,the villages with less population and large area should set up the waste pick-up point around the highway.It is convenient for vehicles to come in.For villages with the better economic development,the number of the rural domestic waste pick-up point can be suitably increased by combining with the physical truth,so as to satisfy the local waste discharge.For rural areas with the lagging economy,the procedure should be used to calculate the optimal point to set up the waste pick-up point.
