Central Processing Facilities?CPF?,also known as United Station,is a processing center for crude oil,associated gas and water produced by oil wells in oilfields.After treatment,crude oil and associated gas can meet the quality requirements of oil and gas products,the transportation and storage requirements and the environmental requirements of produced water.There are a variety of processes for crude oil treatment in CPF.Different treatment processes are selected according to the differences in the nature of feed crude oil.The most suitable process flow is selected through comparison of process simulation results of several schemes so as to achieve the most reasonable combination of product quality,construction cost,energy consumption,environmental protection,operating costs and quantity of products.The main content of this paper is the crude oil processing in a foreign oilfield,and initially formulate four sets of crude oil treatment programs.The HYSYS software is used to simulate all the four sets of working conditions.The simulation results are analyzed and compared,and the design scheme is optimized further,and the most suitable treatment scheme is selected.The technical quality requirements of crude oil processing mainly include H2S content,water content,salt content and RVP?Reis vapor pressure?.After comparing the simulation results,plan 2 can achieve energy saving,emission reduction,lower comprehensive investment and operating costs,higher product quality,and fully meet the technical quality requirements of the product.This solution is selected as the best treatment plan for the crude oil.According to the selected process and the result of the process simulation,the important equipment in the process of plan 2,are calculated by the corresponding software or manual method,including two-phase separator,three-phase separator,heat exchanger,crude stabilizer,etc.,as well as summing up the equipment design experience.The main research results are as follows:?1?the factors that affect the size of the two phase separators,are mainly gas velocity and liquid residence time.The velocity of gas is usually the speed that passes through the gas phase at the highest level,typically 50%of the normal level of equipment.For the gas liquid separation tank,due to large gas and small liquid volume,the general set of the liquid level is lower,to avoid the waste of equipment.The liquid phase residence time is mainly judged by the nature of the oil.The higher the oil viscosity,the longer the residence time is required to achieve the same separation effect.?2?In addition to the influence of the air velocity and the residence time,the size of the three-phase separator is affected by the position and height of the overflow weir and the position of the oil-water boundary.Reasonable design can avoid oil with water or water with oil in the product.Adjustable overflow weir can meet the separation requirements of oilfield production in various periods.?3?when the heat exchanger is operated at a low temperature difference,multiple heat exchangers are required in series.It is necessary to adjust the plan reasonably according to the cost of the project.?4?The crude stabilizer has 6 trays.The effect of treatment is mainly determined by the amount of fuel gas at the bottom of the tower.The pipe distributor is not recommended in order to avoid the blockage when the viscosity is high at low temperature.
