With the continuous development of economic globalization,China's small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises are facing great competition pressure and even survival crisis,transformation and upgrading become inevitable.However,where to transform and how to transform have perplexed business operators,the risk of transformation failure is also deterred,and there are few successful cases that can be used for reference.Helen Piano Co.,Ltd.has carried out strategic transformation through independent research and development,business model innovation,investment and merger and acquisition.On the basis of stabilizing traditional piano production,Helen Piano Co.,Ltd.has entered the literature and art education and training industry,launched related diversified management,extended the enterprise value chain,and gradually improved its business performance.At the same time,Helen Piano has taken a series of measures to control the related risks in the process of strategic transformation.Generally speaking,Helen Piano has improved the profit on the basis of controlling the risk,the value creation ability of the enterprise has been improved in a real sense,and the strategic transformation has been successful.This paper uses the theory of diversification and value chain to analyze the relationship between strategic transformation and value creation,and puts forward the framework of the relationship between them.The success of Helen's piano strategytransformation and the improvement of value creation ability prove the rationality of the framework diagram of the relationship between strategic transformation and value creation proposed in this paper.Creating value is the purpose of the existence of an organization like an enterprise.When the business environment changes greatly,the competitive advantage weakens,and the original strategy can no longer make the profits of the enterprise achieve sustainable growth,strategic transformation is imperative.The framework of the relationship between strategic transformation and value creation proposed in this paper can guide enterprises to start from the existing value chain and make strategic transformation in the direction of improving value creation ability according to the trend of social and economic development,without blindness.At the same time,the enterprise's risk awareness has been improved,and the choice of the implementation path of strategic transformation will be further considered,and the risk and cost control will be within the acceptable range.This paper holds that the study of Helen's piano's correct transformation direction,steady transformation pace,both internal and external implementation path,unique risk control means and so on,has important reference value for other manufacturing enterprises in China to carry out strategic transformation and ultimately improve the value creation ability successfully.
