In order to alleviate the problem of logistics companies, such as low distributionefficiency, high operating costs and slow Scheduling. Logistics vehicle monitoring systemplays a very important role in logistics distribution. The purpose of this paper is research anew logistics vehicle monitor system, which combine RFID (Radio FrequencyIdentification), GPS (Global Positioning System), GPRS (General Packet Radio Service)and GIS (Geographic Information System) technology. The new system has a betterfunction, positioning accuracy, real-time, dynamic and use convenience than conventionallogistics vehicle monitoring system.In this paper, the monitoring system mainly includes vehicle terminal and monitoringcenter, and the monitoring center is divided into monitoring subsystem, customer querysubsystem and communication subsystem. The main research contents of vehicle terminalare:1) set up hardware platform and Software structure to realize vehicle navigation andpositioning function;2) study map matching algorithm, consider the impact of accuracy,real-time and robustness factor, then brought forward the Map Matching Algorithm basedon Segmented Dominant. The main research contents of monitoring center are:1) designperfect functions of monitoring system, such as map basic operating functions, vehiclemonitoring and scheduling, query, trajectory playback;2) study B/S(browser/server) andC/S(client/server) modes, and build network multilayer architecture system. ResearchWebpage asynchronous transmission technology and RFID cargo verification managementmechanism, and then realize real-time online query function under B/S mode. It reflectdynamic and use convenience in this monitoring system.3) Research wirelesscommunication between vehicle terminal and monitoring center, and achieve mutualcommunication.Finally, build a physical model for logistics vehicle monitoring system designed inthis paper, application server (Guangxi University of Science and Technology NAT Server,IP202.103.204.190:8100). Relevant experiments results show that the map matchingalgorithm can achieve vehicle navigation function fast and accurately. Besides, themonitoring center achieve vehicle monitoring scheduling function successfully. What'smore, Customers (clients) through browser to realize real-time online query function.Using the inverse map code, it can query the current location of goods. These technologiesensure the safety of the goods and realize rapid transit.
