In recent years,the number of feeder automation projects increased rapidly.A reasonable feeder automation scheme can not only bring good economic benefit but also guarantee the construction projects go smoothly.However,most of the feeder automation schemes were made to pursuit advanced technology blindly,without considering the real demand of power supply reliability in the target area.Obvious result was not brought with high investment.Therefore,it is necessary to optimize the existing feeder automation scheme at the point of technology and economy.Research found that if one of the connected switches was chosen inappropriately in the restoration process of feeder automation,the overload feeder might be caused.The secondary power outage and large area blackouts might be caused when the overload became worse,which lower the reliability of power supply instead.A power supply restoration scheme with the objective of load balancing was proposed by analyzing the character of distribution network line and the power supply restoration.And the corresponding software module was developed.The feasibility and correctness of the power supply restoration were verified by constructing the experimental platform and designing the test planThe feeder automation optimization scheme based on net profit rate of investment was proposed by studying the economy of the existing feeder automation scheme.The numerical relationship between the investment cost and benefit of feeder automation was analyzed with the method of net profit rate of investment,which can provide the choosing basis of feeder automation with the optimal economic benefit.The effect factors of feeder automation scheme selection(such as the requirement of power supply reliability,the reasons of power failure)was analyzed,the mathematical model of feeder automation scheme was set up.and the selection process of feeder automation scheme were studied.Finally,taking the city of H for example,the method of net profit rate of investment was used to calculate the net profit rate of investment in every power supply zone of the city of H.The optimal feeder automation construction schemes in every power supply division were provided.
