The Research On Quality Management Of Electrolux Company During New OEM Product Development Stage

Competition and cooperation are becoming two motive forces for modern enterprises.And peope have changed their perspective towards competition as modern economy is developing.Base on own advanced product and leverage competitor's product,one company can make further advantage.The competitor can also get new more development space.Thus,competition becomes cooperation.Electrolux Company has almost 100 OEM suppliers,develops more than 300 platforms(projects),purchases nearly 150 millions of units and spends more th an 10 billions RMB every year.However,there are some challenges among current quality management process observed for Electrolux Company's OEM business: some jobs can not be completed properly even though employee's job loading has been increasing,various quality issues are found in field,project leadtime is too long to meet marke t requirement and so on.All these issues are urgent to be solved by Electrolux Company.This paper introduces the theory of quality management and related research results in China and abroad.And base on finding and thinking during working on supplier quality management in Electrolux Company,it deeply analyzes the current status of quality management process of Electrolux during new product development stage as well as main problems and corresponding causes.Furthermore,refer to theories,methods and tools of quality management,project management and organization management,it comes up with some improvement plans for orginazation structure,job content and operation process for quality management during new OEM product development stage for Electrolux Company.In order to ensure the implementation of the improvement plan,this paper also gives some ideas on how to achieve it based on some principles for quality management considering Electrolux Company's status of organization structure,human resource and information system.
