With the advantages of large capacity and long transmission distance,belt conveyor as a common means of transport is widely used in mines,ports and so on.Once the belt of inclining belt conveyor is broken,it will fall down quickly because of the gravity of itself and material which can damage the frame and then cause serious safety accidents.And belt-broken catcher as a kind of protective tool can stop the broken belt continuing to decline.Aiming at frequent occurrence of belt-broken accident for inclining belt conveyor,this paper focuses on parametric design method and parametric design system,and makes machine-liquid coupling simulation by AMESim and ADAMS softwares.Basing on the inspection of numerous data at home and abroad,This paper design a new kind of belt-broken catcher applicable to inclining belt conveyor theoretically to avoid the deficiency of existing,such as insufficient catching force,inconsistent performance,high costs and etc.The device is to be arranged along the belt conveyor and powered by cylinder,the gear rack drives a wedge block and beam effects on the conveyor belt catch action.In order to test the strength of belt-broken catcher,Pro/Mechanica finite element analysis software was used to analysis the frame structure.This paper studies key technology in parametric design of bel-broken catcher,including parts library technology?classification&coding technology?two dimensions engineering drawing technology and assembly technology.Parts library for complex parts are established based on Pro/Toolkit.Parts library for simple parts are established based on family table.To achieve the performing standardization design of belt-broken catcher,parts are classified and coded referring to JLBM-1 system.This paper also studies the drawing method of two dimensions,and customizes drawing template accord with national standard.Studying assembly technology of belt-broken with program and three dimensional feature.According to the structure characteristics of belt-broken catcher and parametric design method,based on the system of Windows XP,taking Pro/Engineer as the development platform,Pro/Toolkit as secondary development tools,and with language application program C++ under Visual Studio2008 compiler environment,this paper develops a belt-broken catcher parametric design system with a man-machine interface performing in dynamic link library,and the main function of this system are part's parametric design and assembly parametric design.Details on the use of Visual Studio 2008 development program menus and visual dialog are studied to build a bridge between Pro/Toolkit application program and Pro/Engineer software,to achieve the exchange of data between them.Combining the advantages of ADAMS and AMESim on dynamic simulation and hydraulic simulation,this paper establishes a combined simulation model of belt-broken catcher,to achieve real-time transmission of calculating date through interface module between ADAMS and AMESim software.By means of mechanical-hydraulic co-simulation,the system characteristic when the belt-broken catcher performing action is analyzed.
