As the growing imbalance between energy consumption and environmental pollution,the asphalt pavement during the construction of high energy consumption,greenhouse gas and harmful smoke emissions and other issues has become a research focus at home and abroad.Because of the issues that the quantitative analysis and evaluation system on construction energy consumption of asphalt surface is not perfect,the research on calculation and evaluation method of energy consumption,and energy saving technology of asphalt pavement will generate important theory value and practical significance.Through the combination of literature and field investigation,the construction energy consumption of asphalt surface was divided into five parts,namyely energy consumptions of raw materials production and energy consumptions of mixing,transportation,paving and compaction asphalt mixture.Moreover,the energy types of above five parts were determined and evaluation system were proposed,including five first-grade indicators ten secondary indicators.The parameters of materials production,construction process and equipements were investigated,providing the basic data for the establishment of energy consumption model.The construction theoretical calculation model of energy consumption is established based on the mechanical equipment rated parameters.The construction energy consumption forecast model of asphalt pavement is established by actual benchmark parameters though field measurement.And the quota calculation rule derived by the unit asphalt mixture mechanical classes and energy consumption parameters.Comparison of three kinds of asphalt surface construction energy consumption calculation method: theoretical method,forecasting method and quota method,theresults show that the asphalt mixture production energy consumption is the largest,accounting for about 60% of the total energy consumption,followed by raw materials production,accounting for about 30% of the total energy consumption,energy consumption minimum stage includes transportation,paving and rolling process.In order to provide scientific guidance and theoretical basis for saving energy at asphalt pavement construction.Accordingly,the asphalt surface energy-saving technology is proposed by the warm mix technique,production process improvement,equipment optimization and equipment production capacity promotion four aspects:(1)with warm mix technique,can save energy and cost;(2)by using shelter and controlling the aggregate water content,high cost performance;(3)mechanical equipment life of 3 years for the fuel inflection point,machinery consumption stability within three years,in the fourth year of fuel consumption increased sharply.Therefore,it is very important to strengthen the maintenance of machinery and equipment and preferably within three years of construction machinery under the premise of economic conditions;(4)mechanical equipment production capacity to ascend.studies have shown that: the greater mixing equipment production capacity and the vehicle load,the production unit asphalt mixture of energy consumption is also lower,the production capacity of 320 t/h than 30 t/h mixing equipment to reduce energy consumption 17.8%;load 20 t of transport energy is about 10 t of the load of about 10%.The research results can provide scientific guidance for the optimization of energy consumption calculation,energy saving and consumption evaluation and optimization of mechanical equipment matching,and provide a new perspective for the improvement and innovation of energy saving technology.
