Study On The Recreational Behavior And Spatial Distribution Of East Lake Greenway In Wuhan From The Perspective Of Gender Difference

This study selected the gender-based leisure travelers in the Donghu Greenway in Wuhan as the research object.Static spatial distribution,recreational activities,and recreational psychology have been investigated in the field,including the methods of literature survey,cross-discipline,behavior observation,line-of-sight observation,behavioral annotation,etc.Using SD method,factor analysis method and T-test method to deeply analyze the psychology of recreational activities for both sex swimmers,and then propose the green space design from the perspective of gender differences.The results of the study are as follows:1 The dynamic spatial distribution characteristics of bisexual tourists in the Donghu Greenway in Wuhan is mainly manifested in the same types of bisexual tourists,and the preference for recreation space in the same recreation environment is different.This is embodied in the following aspects:First,the bi-directional trend in the selection of recreation routes appears;the choice of recreational trajectories also shows significant differences;finally,the degree of concern for the environment is also quite different;2 The recreational activities and static spatial distribution characteristics of the two-sex tourists in the Donghu Greenway in Wuhan are mainly manifested in the accumulation of female swimmers in the space,and the male swimmers are scattered in space.In addition,male vagrants often have a strong purpose for the content of recreational activities and the arrangement of recreational time in outdoor recreation activities,and female cruisers show more arbitrariness when they stay in recreational space.In general,male swimmers choose recreational space as the main purpose of leisure activities,while female swimmers choose recreational space as their primary purpose.3 Psychology of bisexual tourists in the Donghu Greenway in Wuhan is mainly manifested in the mode of recreational activities.Male swimmers prefer to view and rest,while female swimmers prefer picnic and parent-child activities;there is no significant differences in internal transportation,but there are significant differences in external transportation;there is no significant difference in entrance management and image,water features,and paving,but both sex swimmers are not satisfied with these three items.There is no significant difference in the attractiveness of the greenway space,but there are significant differences in the three aspects of security,noise,and health.There are significant differences in the visual field,sense of space,and relief.However,there was no significant difference in the overall color,plant level,and vegetation quantity between the two sexes’ swimmers.There were significant differences in the health of service facilities,the comfort of rest facilities,the number of rest facilities,and the number of toilets.4 Put forward the basic requirements of "combination and diversity,but never leave" for the design of recreational space for gender differences.On the basis of fully respecting gender differences,we will focus on considering the emotional and behavioral experience of female swimmers,and encourage female swimmers to participate in green space space planning and design.Furthermore,in the design of the green space recreation space organization,it is proposed to strengthen the recognizability of recreational space and improve the gender integration of recreational space.In the optimization design of the green space recreation space,it is proposed to strengthen the sense of security of recreational space,create the affinity of recreational space and improve the facilities related to recreational space.
