Distribution automation technology has important implications for improving power supply reliability,expanding power supply capacity,reducing line losses,and reducing labor intensity.As an important part of the field of low-voltage electrical appliances,switchgear is an indispensable primary equipment in power automation systems.The steady or normal operation of the switchgear directly affects the safety and stability of the entire system.As a representative product of switchgears,it is the basic condition and important link to realize the intelligent distribution network that the control and protection switch electrical appliances have two-way,real-time and high-speed communication capabilities.The performance of the intelligent distribution network system is largely determined by its performance.Therefore,it is of great academic significance to carry out research on controlling and protecting switch electrical appliances.In order to adapt to the reliability requirements of the automation distribution,this paper proposes a WiFi-based control and protection switch communication system.This paper studies the characteristics of distribution automation wireless network and the functional requirements of control and protection switches,analyzes and compares the hardware and software platform features of the system development,and designs the external circuit of the WiFi communication module and the software program of the Android client.The main purpose of the entire system is to enable the Android mobile phone client to monitor and control the switches in the access network through the WiFi network.The system effectively combines the Internet of things technology and power supply and distribution management to achieve the functions of remote monitoring of switch status,setting of switch parameters,and control of switch opening and closing.In the management,the information of the switch operation is stored in the database in real time,which is convenient for the user to check at any time.Through experiments,it shows that the system can fully meet the needs of intelligent users,reduce labor costs,improve management efficiency,and has a certain practical value and application prospects.
