Mechanism Analysis And Prevention Of Asphalt Pavement Temperature Shrinkage Cracking In The Cold Regions Of North China

Now China's road and bridge traffic development is rapid,because the traffic volume is increasing,and the part of the climate influence,resulting in some areas of the asphalt pavement cracks,the impact of road use performance.Asphalt pavement in cold regions has been caused by temperature,which is a difficult problem for engineering field and has been studied.This phenomenon is common in the northeast of China.After winter in Northeast China,there are a lot of cracks in the asphalt pavement,some cracks can be repaired,but some cracks affect the traffic operation,to people's travel life has brought inconvenience.The main reason is that the load type of asphalt pavement is the main reason that the driving load is on the asphalt pavement,resulting in a large shear stress,and shear stress exceeds the shear strength of the asphalt pavement,so that the pavement has a shear cracking failure.The main cause of non load cracks in asphalt pavement is the temperature cracks.The performance of asphalt mixture has a direct relationship with the temperature,and the asphalt mixture with the temperature rise or fall,its anti deformation ability and strength will produce obvious changes.Cracks in the asphalt pavement,its opposite the layer has little effect,however,when cracks appear,moisture into the cracks,contact with the semi-rigid base,water base erosion,resulting in clamorous pulp,steps,net crack and so on.In the base and subgrade softening,resulting in the pavement bearing capacity decreased,the more likely the pavement caused by large-scale cracking,asphalt road greatly shortened life expectancy.In this paper,the causes of asphalt pavement cracks in Shenyang area are discussed,and the mechanism of low temperature cracking of asphalt pavement is analyzed theoretically,and the influencing factors are analyzed.The evaluation index of asphalt pavement low temperature cracking resistance is also carried out one one lists and explained.Although countries for road design and construction have made a specification,but for some with special local characteristics of the region and not to make a separate specification,so in this paper,the temperature of asphalt pavement of Shenyang City shrinkage crack mechanism is analyzed,and through the actual inspection,Shenyang City of asphalt pavement structure,subgrade structure,the change of temperature,pavement failure modes made an investigation and analysis,through analysis for asphalt pavement cracks in Shenyang area,this paper puts forward the methods of prevention and protection measures.The research results of this paper can be of important reference value for the rapid development of asphalt pavement in the cold regions of the north.
