| With the rapid development of slow-traffic system and urban landscaping,colored pavement is increasingly used in urban non-motorized lanes,landscape roads,channelized traffic,squares,residential roads and other areas,with new materials,new technology and process emerging continuously.In this paper,referring to the related research results at home and abroad,a kind of colored emulsified asphalt was developed and a kind of colored micro-surface was prepared by using this asphalt as adhesive,whose road performance,economic and social benefits were evaluated and discussed.At present,the colored asphalt concrete as a common colored pavement material,has the problems of high cost,difficult to maintain and etc.It is a trend to study and implement an economical effective and easy to operate way of preventive maintenance,for large numbers of completed and opened to use colored asphalt concrete roads have gradually entered the stage of repair and maintenance in China.The development of colored emulsified asphalt and colored micro-surface,could be used as new material and new technology for light traffic and non-motorized roads,as as to complete the maintenance approaches of colored asphalt concrete pavements.The features of low cost and ease to construct,make the development of colored emulsified asphalt and micro-surface becoming an urgent requirement and inevitable trend.The main contents of this paper include the following aspects:(1)Selection of raw materials and performance analysis of colored emulsified asphalt prepared by different raw materials.The main raw materials of colored emulsified asphalt include color asphalt,emulsifier,stabilizer and etc.Through a large number of experiments,the influence on the performance parameters of different raw materials is analyzed to determine the most reasonable raw materials and their dosages,so as to evaluate its performance of synthetic colored emulsified asphalt.(2)Emulsification mechanism and preparation process of colored emulsified asphalt.Unlike ordinary emulsified asphalt,the colored asphalt prepared for colored emulsified asphalt itself is a synthetic polymer material,with two emulsification mechanisms completely different,where the colored emulsified asphalt preparation process is also different from ordinary emulsified asphalt.Through the analysis of the mechanism of colored emulsified asphalt and various experiments,the laboratory preparation progress of colored emulsified asphalt was determined,and its industrial production was discussed preliminarily.(3)Preparation and performance analysis of modified colored emulsified asphalt.Ordinary colored emulsified asphalt performance is not enough to prepare colored micro-surface,so it needs to be modified.Use SBR and waterborne epoxy to modify the performance of colored emulsified asphalt,getting the experimental result of the latter material modified effect was better.Through various experiments,the optimum dosage of waterborne epoxy was determined and the main performance of modified colored emulsified asphalt was evaluated.(4)The performance research of colored micro-surface mixture,including cohesion,wet wheel wear,load wheel adhesion and etc.Evaluate the performance parameters of colored micro-surface prepared by modified colored emulsified asphalt from cohesion and other features,so as to determine the best mix ratio of the colored micro-surface.(5)Economic and social benefit analysis.Through the above experimental studies,the development of colored micro-surface could meet the need of light traffic and non-motorized roads from the points of colorful surface and road performance,and it also can be used as a fast repair and maintenance method of the old colored pavements. |
