Research On Protection Of City Site Of Xi An Zhou In The Haiyuan Ningxia

The city site of Xi An Zhou is located in the west side of Haiyuan county,Ningxia.The west side is the Tiandu mountains,and the east side is the Haiyuan country.It has historically been refer to as "that throat of the city of Guyan and Jingyan ",as well as the front belt of Ganzhou and Liangzhou.The city site of Xi An Zhou was discovered during the second national cultural relics survey in 1984.It was the site of the ancient city in the period of Bei Song dynasty and Xi Xia dynasty.It was called "Nan Mou Hui" In the Xi Xia dynasty,and the Bei Song dynasty was renamed as " Xi An Zhou ".In the Ming dynasty,it kept thousands of houses in it,and set up military base in the Qing dynasty.Due to the 1920 HaiYuan earthquake,all of the buildings and structures were destroyed in this city,only the wall on the ground.After the earthquake,residents rebuilt their homes and built a complete natural village "Laocheng Cun" in the city site.In 2005,The city site of Xi An Zhou was published by the people's government of ningxia hui autonomous region as the cultural relic protection unit of the autonomous region.The city site of Xi An Zhou is the largest,and the highest level of the Xi Xia city sites in Haiyuan district.It is worth researching the political,military,and cultural aspects of Xi Xia dynasty.However,due to the impact in the rural development and the production and life of residents in the site,the wall of the site relics are fading away by after year.Limited by objective factors and archaeological research lag,The city site of Xi An Zhou has not yet fully protected.This thesis try to analyze the current problems in the Xi An Zhou.using mature site protection experience in China and abroad.Provide some practical reference and reference for the protection of The city site of Xi An Zhou.This thesis consists of five chapters: the first chapter is the background research,which mainly explain the purpose and significance of this topic,and clarify the research methods and framework.The second chapter is the research on the value of Xi An Zhou.Exploring the development of the ancient city through historical literature research.Through the study of the construction characteristics and value characteristics of Xi An Zhou,the objects and scope of protection are clearly defined.The third chapter analyzes the current situation of Xi An Zhou and analyzes the main contradiction of the protection of the ruins.The fourth chapter give a conclusion about analysis of mature protection experience,and gives concrete methods and measures for the protection of Xi An Zhou from ground relics protection,underground relics,and site environmental protection.The fifth chapter mainly considering about the perspective of long-term preservation of Xi An Zhou.Putting forward the specific strategies and methods of site monitoring and optimizing site management.The final conclusion is the consideration of the preservation work of Xi An Zhou and the prospect for the next work about Xi An zhou.
