Since the beginning of the 21 st century,due to the continuous development of urbanization and the explosive increase of motor vehicles,the traffic problems in the main urban areas have deteriorated sharply,resulting in serious urban traffic problems.In order to alleviate the urban traffic problems,the relevant departments have increased the investment in traffic infrastructure year by year,and carried out a large number of infrastructure construction and reconstruction projects.Although to a certain extent,the Problem of urban traffic congestion has been alleviated,the effect is not obvious.Because new roads lead to new traffic demand,new traffic demand will cause new traffic problems.Therefore,in view of the existing urban road network situation in our country,combined with the needs of the future urban development planning,modern urban traffic management and control measures are used to reasonably guide the travel demand of urban residents,thereby reducing the urban traffic pressure.According to the city road network structure of China's existing in the city,not to increase or less increase in traffic infrastructure construction,through the analysis of green wave band,bus signal priority and micro-circulation of the urban road network on city road network adaptability,optimal traffic control method for different level road network in urban main city of China.Firstly,This paper classifies the urban road network,differentiates it from the traditional classification method of urban road network,and puts forward the concepts of "zhu mian","ci mian" and "zhi mian".Then the characteristics of "zhu mian","ci mian" and "zhi mian" are analyzed in detail,including the characteristics of the index,the basic characteristics and the cross characteristics.Then,the new road network classification method is applied to the main urban area of Xining City.Secondly,the basic principles and methods of three kinds of traffic control methods are expounded,and the design methods of three traffic control methods in the simulation software are given.Finally,with the network in Xining city as an example,based on the VISSIM simulation software,a three level road network model is established,and the adaptability of three traffic control methods on model is studied.Evaluation indicators include average speed?average delay time?number of stops?number veh?person delay?average queue length.The simulation results show that,compared with the presentsituation,"zhu mian" of the green wave band,"ci mian" of the bus signal priority and "zhi mian" of the micro-circulation are the best in improving the performance of the road network.
