| In response to the national "One Belt and One Road" strategy,as China’s new energy automotive industry leader,BYD’s overseas investment has fast growing in recent years.However,under the background of the slowdown in global economic growth,American trade and investment protectionism is gradually increasing;it makes the investment environment of the US market more complex,and undoubtedly exacerbates the investment risk of BYD for new energy vehicles in the US market.Therefore,to maintain the healthily development of BYD’s overseas investment,it is particularly important to study the overseas investment risk management of BYD.The relative research results,including international investment,risk management,and risk management of new energy vehicles at home and abroad,are reviewed and analyzed by summarizing a large number of related literatures.The shortcoming of existing research is pointed out,and the research idea of this paper is put forward.This paper identifies the BYD’s overseas investment risk,and sets up the comprehensive evaluation index system for BYD overseas investment risk,based on the eight dimensions including politics,economy,socio-culture,legal,technology,market,finance and operational management,and 26 indicators including bilateral political relations,political ideology and financing efficiency and so on.Then taking BYD’s American investment in new energy automobile as an example,using the AHP method to determine the index weights,the investment risk of BYD is evaluated by a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,and some instructive conclusions is get up.Finally,some suggestions for controlling the risk,including reasonably avoiding political risks,increasing R & D efforts,actively diversifying investment risks and enhancing risk management awareness,are put forward for avoiding the overseasinvestment risks faced by BYD’s new energy vehicle.It can provide some references for related enterprises to conduct risk management of overseas investment. |
