With the development of today's information technology and network technology,the construction of smart grids leads the important direction of China's power industry reform,and it is also the main trend of the current and future development of the power industry.In order to fully realize the intelligent protection of the power grid,in harmony with the large environment of the smart grid,the realization of digitalization and intelligentization of the substation is particularly important,and the relay protection configuration of the substation is also in urgent need of upgrading.In particular,the issuance and implementation of IEC 61850,which is the most complete communication standard in the field of substation automation,has brought the development of substation digitalization and intelligentization into a new area.The use of the information sharing function of the whole station to protect the smart substation is one of the directions for future smart substation construction.Therefore,this article will study the protection of 220 kV smart substations.The main work of this article is as follows:This thesis is based on IEC 61850 standard,analyzes its properties,and constructs the "three-layer and two-network" structure diagram of a smart substation based on IEC 61850 standard.The characteristics of the smart substation architecture are analyzed in several different aspects and the current stage is proposed.Several different design options for relay protection in smart substations.The station domain protection system is constructed.The technical scheme of the control system of the smart substation station protection and communication messages are summarized.This paper analyzes the existing problems of the traditional substation relay protection configuration scheme,which is based on intelligence.The characteristics of information sharing in substations,the current differential principle is applied to the backup protection field of substations,and the protection method of the station domain based on current differential principle is studied.The 220kV smart substation with independent dual main protection and centralized station backup protection is proposed.Relay protection configuration new program.This solution satisfies the selectivity,quickness,sensitivity and reliability of relay protection and uses PSCAD simulation software to build a 220kV smart substation station protection model,through the simulation to verify the feasibility of protection.
