In recent years, from the perspectives of promoting competition in the passenger transport market, improving railway service standards, and facilitating travel for the masses, the National Development and Reform Commission successively issued several circulars on the reform and improvement of the passenger ticket pricing policy for high-speed railway EMUs,which means that the price of railway tickets has started to the development of the floating fare. However, the current research on railway fare adjustment is not yet mature and is still in the research and pilot phase. This paper is centering on the issue of railway fare adjustment, focusing on how to obtain and analyze the mechanism and intensity of the impact of fare discounts on changing passenger travel behavior to conduct paper discussion. As different types of passengers face discounts on fares, this article mainly discusses the relationship between different discounts and passengers' choices of specific travel behaviors under the condition of allowing fare discounts,in order to provide a reference for the optimization of railway fares in China.Secondly,a method of the clustering analysis was used to subdivide the passenger groups and further a railway passenger discount sensitivity model considering different fare discount conditions and choices of travel behavior was constructed to measure traveler discount sensitivity. Then, from the aspects of architecture, database, etc.,the railway passenger ticket price discount adjustment aided decision platform was designed and programmed. Finally, the paper combines the survey data of Jiaoji Railway passengers,high-speed rail train operation data and other examples to verify the method and platform proposed in this paper.
