The Construction Of Comprehensive Urban Design Method For Small And Medium-sized Cities In Southern Hilly Area

In the process of rapid urbanization,the regional characteristics of the southern hilly small and medium-sized city is in a defect because of neglecting the unique terrain and landforms of the southern hills and arbitrarily applying the planning standards and technical regulations of small and medium-sized cities in the plain and mountain area.In view of this,this article summarizes the relevant research on the urban design methods of the comprehensive city and the hilly city at home and abroad,and combines the theory of place context,the theory of natural ecological design and the theory of space form,and the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods,from the perspective of the overall design framework control and the three-dimensional spatial quantitative analysis of the southern hilly small and medium-sized city,to explore an comprehensive urban design method with southern hilly regional characteristics,which enriches the research results of the comprehensive urban design method under different terrain conditions and provides a certain reference value for the comprehensive urban design practice of the southern hilly small and medium-sized city.In this process,the following results are achieved:On the one hand,based on natural geography,we first extract the natural factors based on the southern hilly landforms and water systems,and combine them with the paths,signs and edges of the five elements of the city image(except for regions and nodes),to create the image of the whole hilly city,then select the small and medium-sized cities of the southern hilly area--Hunan(Loudi),Jiangxi(Shangrao)and Fujian(Longyan)as a sample case to analyze and summarize the common features of the overall control skeleton of the southern hilly small and medium-sized city,that is,landscape pattern(hill features),space development axis,space architecture,structural core,and different functional areas,finally,take the case of Zhangjiajie's comprehensive urban design as an example.On the other hand,based on the theory of spatial form,the three dimensional space of the southern hilly small and medium-sized city is quantitatively analyzed by adopting the strategy of“three steps”.The first step,the total amount of urban development is predicted through two parts of reality and reference;the second step,applying GIS to establish urban ideal space model--Volume rate ideal model,through the influence of traffic,resources and services location factors,and combining with ecological,cultural,safety factor and the reference gauge control plot ratio,to modify the ideal space model and get volume rate correction model;the third step,according to the aesthetic principles of urban design,take the block as the basic management unit,respectively from the line of sight corridor and the overlooking system to control the height of the city,finally,the height expansion model of the city is obtained,combined with the plot ratio,formed different levels of control,to strengthen the three-dimensional spatial height management of the southern hilly small and medium-sized city.Finally,it refines the innovation of this paper,namely:the quantitative analysis of the three dimensional space of small and medium-sized cities in hilly areas of South China.At the same time,it analyzes the shortcomings of the paper and puts forward constructive suggestions and suggestions.
