In the construction of mountainous highways,due to the restrictions of terrain conditions,it is inevitable to use a large number of retaining structures.There are many types of retaining structures,and the applicable conditions of each kind of retaining structure are different.The designer is faced with the problem of how to select a better support plan from among the types of retaining structures.At present,the selection of retaining structures is mainly based on the experience of designers.Due to the limitations of the designer's own experience,there is a certain degree of randomness,which leads to unreasonable selection of models,economic losses,and structural damage.Threaten personal safety.Therefore,it is very necessary to carry out the research on the selection methods of retaining structures for mountain highways and provide scientific principles and methods for the selection and design of mountain highway retaining structures.This paper addresses the issue of selection of retaining structures for mountain highways.Analyzes and summarizes the basic structure features such as structural forms,force characteristics,masonry materials,construction techniques,applicable conditions,structural economics,and structural design points and key points of commonly used retaining structures in mountainous highways;Applying the expert consultation method and the author's understanding of the project's participation in the engineering practice,the factors influencing the selection of retaining structures are summarized;Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),a hierarchy structure evaluation system for selection indicators was established.Through expert investigation,a judgment matrix was constructed and the weight of each index was calculated.The concept of induced matrix is introduced,which effectively solves the problem that experts need to reconstruct the judgment matrix when the judgment matrix does not meet the consistency test.On this basis,the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was introduced and used in combination with the improved post-analytic hierarchy process to construct a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on improved analytic hierarchy process.In this paper,the selection model constructed is applied to practical engineering projects,and the practicability of the model is verified.This paper provides a quantification method for the selection of support structures for mountainous highways.Through the application of the project,the rationality,applicability,and operability of the highways are preliminarily verified.The results and conclusions obtained can be used by the designers for the mountain highways in China.Engineering construction has a certain guiding significance.
