Cultural creative industry is key industry promoted vigorously by the government in recent years,but in recent years,taking cultural characteristics as the design differentiation strategy elements of creative commodity product is more like the bamboo shoots after a spring rain emerge,and get a good response in the market,which has become another share power of the commodity to improve their own value in the market.And the importance of cultural characteristics as the theme of product design is more important for enterprises.How to take cultural characteristics as the theme of product development will be the key to evaluate the quality of products,and will become a new design topic.Therefore,this study is based on the local cultural products of Qiang Ethnic's “as the object of discussion.The research object is rich in cultural elements,and through the comparison of local cultural elements and group cultural elements,studies a feasible design strategy.From the perspective of cultural characteristics and design concepts,we will explore the mode of regional culture product design that can be followed through comparing the products designed by Qiang ethnic group with other characteristic products.This paper is divided into four chapters: the first chapter,is an overview of the research background,present situation,significance,content method and innovation,and expounds the necessity and feasibility of the research from the above aspects;the second chapter,through the research methods,combing,analysis and summarization of Qiang's cultural traits influencing on regional products,and search for the origin of cultural and creative product development.The third chapter,the taxonomic study of Qiang's traditional utensils,mainly aimed at the daily necessities,research its function,cultural model,morphological characteristics and so on.The fourth chapter,discusses the development value of Qiang's traditional implements as a medium of traditional culture.Its development value urgent to use industrial design and cultural ethics to develop and design the product of Qiang's regional characteristic culture.With the graduation works as the foundation of practice,demonstrated in combination with the theory of the thesis.This paper is intended to taking the product development and design as the research method of,through the modeling,operation and basic functions to carry out the transfer of regional culture.And this process involves designer's coding and consumer's decoding behavior,because of cultural differences,there will be different definitions of cognition in different contextual cultures.
