| This paper studies the specificity of the spatial planning of the former core area of the Airport Terminal,draws on the concept of “open blocks”,and focuses on the research of urban design strategies for the block size,function mix,land use,and public space of the core area before airport terminal.The research content can be roughly divided into five parts:The first part introduces the purpose and significance of the paper’s writing from the development trend,existing problems and national policies of the airport,defines the research object and scope of the paper by defining the relevant concepts,and summarizes the relevant theories and practices at home and abroad,and proposes the research methods and the framework,lays the foundation for the following research.The second part first elaborates the development history of airports,analyzes the functional levels and spatial distribution characteristics of airport areas,and then defines the functions of the core areas before the airport terminal and the characteristics of space planning,and summarizes a series of problems in the planning and construction of airport core area,such as unbalanced neighborhoods,chaotic traffic organization,inconsistency of land use,lack of vitality in street space,etc..On the basis of exploring the layout of the spatial pattern resulting in the “unit courtyard”,the possibility of applying the concept of “open block” in the core area of airport is proposed.In the third part,it reviews the production and development of the concept of "open block" and deeply understands the concept of "open block".Analyze the historical origins of the concept of open block and China’s block system,combine the new needs of civil aviation construction and the relevant design practices of the concept of “open block” in the airport area,and finally clarify the rationality of the application of “open block” concept in the core area of airports.In the fourth part,under the guidance of the“open block”concept,combining domestic and international relevant excellent cases,the core urban design principles in the former airport are summarized,propose planning goals and urban design strategies in terms of block size,traffic roads,land use,and open space.In the fifth part,through the study of the urban design of the core area in front of theBeijing New Airport Station,we try to explore the urban design principles and design strategies from the aspects of land use,function mix,and space environment construction.This paper hopes to study the application of the concept of “open block” in the core area of the airport terminal to explore how to activate the regional vitality and optimize the core spatial layout from aspects of land use,road traffic,and public space construction,and from the point to the surface,the concept of street block will be infiltrated into more aspects of aviation city construction,thus providing a possible route for intensive and sustainable development of civil aviation land,and providing technical reference for the future planning and construction of the aviation city. |
